2021 Recruiting Prospects

Recommended Posts

I hope that's not the case, ND needs all the help they can get at rb. ND went all in on will Shipley and that fell through. if ND goes all in on logan diggs and if he doesn't pan out they way they hope then that would set ND back even more.

That’s just my speculation, I haven’t heard anything one way or the other. I still think they might be able to take a shot at Shipley. However, that all depends if they can get him on campus.

Edwards is still a target and ND has been trying to move up with him, but they are probably running 5th or 4th, at best. Michigan, Georgia, and Oklahoma are the front runners. Landing Spindler could help, but I would say he is still very much a long shot.

I think there is 0% chance ND gets back in it with Shipley - whether visits are eventually allowed or not. I think he is completely off the board and the only RB ND is still targeting is Edwards.

Does recruiting pick up if the ACC plays a season and the BIG10 and PAC12 cancel? It has to be a selling point to these kids, that ND will keep you safe and get you on the field. Football is important to ND!

Absolutely, but to what degree depends on each program. You better believe coaches will be in those recruits ear, casting doubt on if they’ll even play in 2021.

Just speculation on my part, but he didn’t seem dead set on Clemson when he committed. I do not believe ND should keep going all out, but stay in contact, put out feelers.

Good for him. He’s been an excellent recruiter for ND as well.

Big IF, but if football is played this year with the PAC and BIG sitting out. There will be a few recruits to shake lose. As others have mentioned ND is sitting on Edwards, Thornton, Colzie, Thomas, Rucci, Wright, and TMA right now. There are a few players on the fringes too.

Most likely to land right now are Thomas and TMA. It will be very interesting to see how things go this fall.

Great point. IF football is played by ND, you have to imagine they could sway some top recruits at other programs not playing this fall to jump ship. Why would a kid want to wait till spring to play if he isn’t worried about Covid.

Id be pretty surprised at this point if football isnt played. I mean high school kids are even playing. To cancel would be idiotic

Nolan Rucci officially off the board after he commits to Wisconsin.

Of the Top 20 recruits in the state of Pennsylvania, Penn State has only one commit and could end up with just two.
