If there was ever a time for a bye...

This is it! This team needs the rest and time to get healthy. 7 games has taken their toll. Hope we come back in 2 weeks looking like the team that beat Stanford! A win is a win though. Glad I'm NOT seeing them play next Saturday and I don't ever say that!

Agreed need guys like Armstrong to get Healthy and the coaches to look at the 0-line and see the best 5 without bars.

I feel like that was our letdown game, so bye coming before the option is massive.

I have two more worry spots, I think the week after Navy on the road at Northwestern might be tough if we’re worn down. If we smoke Navy and have backups in early we should breeze by the cats.

USC is the only other one and thats cause of the travel, it being a night game and a rivalry. I also think USC is improving every week but if the team plays to it’s potential we shouldn’t lose a game.

Yes, there needs to be some regrouping during the bye. A W is a W but ND didn't look like a top five team this afternoon.

ND might not have looked like a top 5 team but neither did Georgia, Washington, Penn St, Texas, or UCF. With 3:55 left in the 3rd quarter, West Virginia not looking like one either down 20-14 to Iowa St.

We've had three "letdown" games this year already.
