2018 Recruiting Prospects

Recommended Posts

This kid is one of the most interesting stories of the current cycle. National recruit, offered by 11 SEC teams, only South Carolina seems to have passed, yet ranked as the 45th WR, per 247, but has 34 offers. And the cherry on top pf the sundae...top 2 are ND and Houston??!!

With that amount of attention, can't refer to him as under the radar but call me curious and for our big gun recruitniks, Big and Vegas, quoting the Legendary Vince Lombardi, "What the hell is going on out there??!!"

a few Irish CB's rolling in for Keys in the past 24 hours

He developed a top group and it worked down to those two. LSU and Auburn filled up on WRs or got their main guys at the slot position. Nebraska bombed out. Leaves Houston and ND with the best relationships with him.

4 star OL Tackle Jarrett Patterson is setting up a visit. Former ASU Commit.

Expanding on what Big said. It’s pretty much spot on. Also, for as good as Keys is...he is solely a slot guy. Many programs really, really like him but filled up or had some guys just slightly higher on the board. With that said, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better route runner in this class. Keys has a ton of potential in the slot at the college level.

Can he be a returner?

So, I think that means we lost the 5 star guy when he left.... this is a solid back up offer.

Reminder, my HIGH category means ND is in the top group not that I believe ND will 100% land the kid.

LA WR Lawrence Keys III: HIGH, OV set in January, ND looks like #1 now, lots of momentum it sounds

FL OL Nicholas Petit-Frere: HIGH, ND in the top group but no OL coach might hurt in the end

CA OL Jarrett Patterson: HIGH, planning to OV so anything can happen

DL Moro Ojomo: MEDIUM, ND in top group but still needs to narrow more and take a few visits

DL Malik Langham: MEDIUM, probably stays south but ND hanging around

CA LB Solomon Tuliaupupu: MEDIUM/HIGH, probably stays west but Lea has ND right in it

CA CB Julius Irvin: HIGH, big battle with USC but heavily involved

DC CB Noah Boykin: HIGH, ND is right there but will he flip

GA CB Taiyon Palmer: MEDIUM, late offer but high academic kid, ND will have a shot

I like the way this looks.

Everyone on 24/7 CB'ing Solo to 'SC, but this one feels closer (to me) than St. Brown ever did; it always seemed like St. Brown would go to 'SC.

Are WR Tommy Bush and TE/DE Spencer Webb off the board? Sounds like Bush is favoring UGA but I thought the staff is still pursuing him hard. With Webb, I thought I read he is trying to set up a visit, but that might have been last week.

Bush indicated that he will not be visiting ND which has them eliminated. Also, Webb and ND are no longer talking..

Is patterson meant to put some pressure on npf or would we take both?
