I really hope that the early games are good.....cause I am not sure I am going to make it til 8 otherwise.

I am planning on staying busy by doing some work in the yard.....washing my baby (my car that is) and smoking some food for the game......hopefully that will help pass most of the time.

I hate night games. Especially ones like this where I am a bit nervous about our D. Talk me off the ledge.

The D will be fine. When is the last time the D was exposed? Alabama obviously, but before that? Stanford in '11? USC in '11? That is almost two years of solid D. And this Michigan team isn't Alabama and they don't have Andrew Luck or Matt Barkley.

I rarely form an emotional opinion based on the opponent. This week is different. I hate Michigan. I don't like Brady Hoke, I don't like their stadium, I don't like their helmets, I can't stand their fans and I despise Desmond Howard...

From the awful roads, embarrassing state of their education system, corrupt politicians, unions running an entire city and regional economy into the dirt, polluted lakes and a populous of entitled, arrogant, racist, backwoods squirrel eating, poor hygiene high school dropouts... I hate Michigan

Go Irish - F### Michigan

Did some math on the front six (including tight end) offensively vs. the front 7 defensively of each team and liked the results. Our front six averages 304.5 lbs. vs. their front 7, averaging just 258 lbs., a difference of around 46 lbs. On the other hand their front 6 offensively averages 291 lbs., while our front 7 averages a healthy 279 lbs. A difference of just 12 lbs. Now I realize the difference between a 3-4 and 4-3 defense and also realize a lot of our defensive weight rests directly beneath #1, but I think this bodes well for us in the run games both offensively and defensively. I sure hope so anyway, and that I didn't just skew the numbers to my liking. Go Irish!!!

I usually get really nervous before games. For some reason. Not today. I'm with Da Coach on this one. I think that ND will win this game by at least 14. Their receiving core doesn't scare me. They D line is ok at best and undersized compared to ND's O line. Their O line is green on the interior. Nix will have a field day. Lewan WILL get help with Tuitt tonight. I think that he's good. But I don't think that he can handle Tuitt all night by himself. Their secondary is solid. But ND has weapons all over the field.
