Mine:

The acre or two of campus on the gentle slope coming up from St Mary's Lake and bordered by Corby Hall, the Groto, Old College, and the Log Chapel is my personal favorite little piece of Notre Dame.

Seeing as the stadium is a given...my favourite spot is hands full in the snaking lines through here:

Bravo, sir. Excellent choice, very unique too. And if that photographer had turned just a little to the right, he would have captured an image of that gelato freezer that I love so much. Last year, they had a Notre Dame flavor with real gold in the gelato.

The lakes, anyone? Ya'know, there's 2 of them. How about a cold early morning when they're still giving up their heat to the newly minted winter air?

Or an electric night when it looks like Notre Dame has been decorated with Chinese lanterns?

For me it was Joyce Basketball Arena. 3 or 4 days a week I would run there between 9:00 and 11:00 at night - laps, intervals, and stairs. Quite often I would have the whole place to myself.

You are welcome, Okie, sir.

And as for the Joyce arena:

Notre Dame from above. The dome and church can hardly even be seen unless you know where to look. Instead it is the 2lakes, the Joyce Center, the football stadium, and the golf course that dominate. The parking lots and the lines of parked cars just north of the Joyce Center and the parking lots south of the stadium and Joyce are notable too. I wonder if they'll ever construct multilevel parking garages to cut down on the land used for that purpose.

From up high and more of an angle: featuring the South Quad and the long evening shadows. It looks like Spring to me.
