  1. Clemson CB Mackensie Alexander was asked about Fuller at the combine. "If I take his vertical game away, I wouldn't say he sucks, but he's not that good." More info in the link. That's one cocky kid but it's a good trait for a CB. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/nfl-draft-scout/25498034/nfl-combine-day-3-takeaways-clemsons-alexander-boasts-bold-bravado
  2. Collinsworth was Kelly's 1st recruit he signed. He wasn't a Weis recruit.
  3. Well future 1st rd pick Tuitt and future late 1st early 2nd rd pick Nix couldn't get off their blocks all night. Tuitt was invisible and Nix only broke free a few times. Their OLine was dominant and won them the game. Best hit on McCarron all night was from his Center Jones. They really are the NFL's 33rd team.
  4. I've been to the last two ND games at BC. Small but nice stadium with good view from anywhere. In '08, bought two tickets for face value 30 minutes before kickoff. In '10, got tickets ahead of time but paid a lot and got 2 seats in 3rd row of end zone. Easy to get tickets at the game. The BC students are always selling their seats prior to kickoff. There is line of portable toilets near the parking garage where there is always a bunch of people selling tickets.
  5. Here's some more pictures of his insanely hot "wife." Enjoy. You're welcome. http://chicago.barstoolsports.com/random-thoughts/wake-up-with-hillary-fisher/
  6. former Boston College/NFL journeyman QB Brian St. Pierre was on local Boston sports radio around the time of this years NFL draft. He played with Clausen in Carolina. He was bashing Clausen on the radio. Said he didn't get what it meant to be a pro. Questioned his work ethic, said he didn't command/earn the respect of his teammates, and was kind of a loner. If only you could combine Clausen's talent- arm/accuracy, with Brady Quinn's guts/gamesmanship, you would have a damn good QB.
  7. not sure if it was already mentioned but they also brought in LB Anthony McDonald. Another talented kid that had trouble staying healthy. http://www.kuathletics.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/041312aab.html
  8. Only 3 players last year- Kyle Rudolph, Ian Williams, and Armando Allen. So ND is trending in the right direction. Jonas Gray will be in the same boat Armando was last year coming off an injury.
  9. I doubt he would leave after a year missed due to injury and only 2 years of PT, but Eifert is getting a lot of hype. Talk that he could move up to the highest ranked TE. He would probably get a 2nd round grade from the NFL advisors. Could get drafted in the same range Rudolph did. Maybe the previous back injury causes him to leave now and get paid while healthy. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospectrankings/TSX/2012_TE
  10. yeah it was a tough cut down day for former ND Players. Robert Hughes, Armando Allen, Brian Smith, Kerry Neal, Eric Olsen, Kyle McCarthy, Terrail Lambert, Derek Landri, Sam Young all cut. And I'm sure I missed a few.
  11. Good point and still a huge concern. 30 passes for Daniels and 12 runs some on broken pass plays. Only 1 sack for the D and not much pressure. Add in no turnovers playing against a QB that threw more picks than td's last year. Not the havoc causing D I was hoping to see.
  12. Here's a link with all the pro day results. Walls nailed the 40. Neal ran the 40 slower than most OL. http://www.etruth.com/staffBlogs/BenFord/archive/2011/04/07/notre-dame-pro-day-results-again.aspx
  13. Only Armando Allen, Kyle Rudolph, and Ian Williams were invited to the combine. Hughes, Walls, etc will be tested at ND's pro day.
  14. CBS Sports named him to the all practice team for the week as one of the 2 best DT. It's all in the eye of the beholder as reports on Jake Locker are all over the map. http://rob-rang.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/13682485/27276432
  15. I heard the rumor that his injury was career threatening but haven't heard anything lately. I'm sure Armando got an invite to the Combine so they can put him through all the medical tests. If healthy, I think he would be a good 3rd down back in the NFL.
