Not a shock. ND is in. Good spot. Irvin is a nice payer and will hopefully land at a good spot.
Similar to the Jack Nickel recruitment?

It doesn't have the pinned tweets and it has some features topics above. It's not the same

How would that work with Irvin and likely Limar?
No clue.

The ND staff may believe that they are big game hunting by taking Owen.
I dont think so. But IB said they like him as a nose guard which makes more sense. He's definitely a good player. I just think it was a little early. Never hurts to land quality football players with very strong work ethics though

Good player, high motor, paired with 2023 and I think he is a nice addition. He will slide inside on the DL. Also, likely a projection somewhat. Check out this article: 247: Details on Notre Dame Recruit Owen Wafle
Dad is 6'6+, Owen allegedly has a ~6'10 wingspan, nice explosion for a big guy too
Taking 5 in this class you'd think the 24 class would have less. And you think it would be only big game hunting considering what we got in 23 and the 1 we got in 24

Im a little surprised they would take his commitment so early

This class could be over 20 commits by the end of July. As of today, I would actually say it should be.
Would you say Limar is next or anything before that?

It is so tough to pull these guys out of the Pacific Northwest. I'm thinking Oregon, but hoping ND.
He's Irish

Right now Devon Houstan is scheduled to commit May 7 and Sullivan Absher May 13. Some have indicated Absher was going to take OVs, we will see what happens.
He shouldn't commit then if he wants to take visits. Hopefully he commits and doesn't take any other visits

Hopefully his recruitment wraps up shortly after that. Would be a nice addition to the class, but the no clear leader for him at the moment it seems.
Huge addition

ND is always number 1 or at least top 5 at some point in every recruiting cycle. Let’s see how they finish.
Not this late into it and not with this many good prospects on the board

Sounds like OSU will get him.
Not upset about that honestly

Let’s just hope he’s committed for real this time.

I think the turn down would be the above comment if Siereveld was last they might shut it down. As it is tracking right now I would agree.
2 team race with Siereveld. Do you think we land him

Unknown as of now.
I think the only one who theyd turn down of that group is Siereveld. So of he commits to us, then I can see us taking 5 if all wanted in. Freeling and Jagusah are takes no matter what but they really like Absher and I dont think you turn him down if he wants in to

I was at the game also. I agree with your thoughts. I was disappointed my in the offense play. Except for Mayer the receivers (and Payne ) really looked bad. There was some nice pass plays to RB and TE. But other wise ugh.
We didnt play 4 of our starters including the starting QB

I think ND still leads but I also think everyone thought he was locked up and would commit soon. That didn’t happen. Now it sounds like he wants to take all his OVs. Maybe he’s a take no matter what but he could be left in the cold if others commit sooner.
There will be a spot for him. He's a top 100 player. One of the highest upside players in this class. He's not getting left in the cold

From what I gather, HH identified Sam outside of the previous staff's evaluations and made him a priority.
Would love to add Freeling, Absher and Jagusah. The latter might be trending away though.
I think everyone feels we land Jagusah. Do you have new information

Keon Keeley is an absolute freak show

I'm guessing we land Jayden Limar and Pendleton in the next week
