You got it 4. As you see they were prepared for 6 but I bet they wish the back was lined up on other side to help with FOSKEY who got a SACK on an up and under move549406357_defense2.thumb.jpg.6e7c3ba979156f8619681cfe390253ac.jpg

The middle linebacker who drops into coverage, is he showing blitz or is he spying? If he is trying to fake blitz it looks pretty poorly executed. But then, I can see it from a camera view vs the guy on the field staring down the defense.

  2. Skowronek to the Ravens in the 7th. I really like that kid I think he is going to do well. A lot of his game remined me of the Shark. Good luck to him. Total of 9 players for ND is a good class.

Kiper's thoughts aren't worth much at all in my experience. 😂

I recall him saying in 2012: "You are going to have to have a top 5 pick if you want Manti Te'o." He also said Clausen is first round talent. I don't think you have to mine deep to find gold with him.

    Adetokunbo Ogundeji to the Falcons!

Slow start for ND in the draft but great in later rounds. 8 ties BKs record for draft picks.

Banks to the 49ers as well.

I am sure it will be nice to work with McGlinchey for him. The rest of the draft for me is just curiosity to see if Book gets picked up.

  6. Finally he goes to Cleveland in second instead of first. Has to be nerve wracking for these kids to sit and wait. That was about as painful as the Brady Quinn slide.

Just recently read that every national champion in the playoff era has had 5 or more 1st round picks. Do you see any ND recruiting class with 5 first rounders or even a combination of 2 classes?

Not to beat the same old drum but it is like jbrown said, if Kelly can't develop the skill positions (outside of TE) then it is going to be tough sledding. I don't doubt that those classes had great OL production, but I would be surprised if any of those NC classes didn't also include a first round RB or WR or, obviously, QB.

  8. Surprised that JOK fell out of the first.  More surprised at the LBs who went ahead of him.  Thoughts?

I see a lot of LBs listed as DEs maybe that is part of it.

I actually appreciate you posting this. Very sad indeed. How much alcohol does it take for a man his size to have a bac that high. I’m 160 and it would take me at least 5 beers within a couple hours on an empty stomach. So sad such a wonderful man can be lost to such a preventable event.

Quick lookup on the internet (not sure of the veracity) suggest six drinks an hour for a 220 pound man to reach .08. That seems a bit high to me as I think I would be quite a bit more faded if I had six shots in an hour but it is what it is. By that math you would need about 15 drinks in an hour's time to reach .2.

I found another source that suggests that a 240 pound man would be at .16 BAC after having 10 drinks in an hour.

Long story short, it takes a hell of a lot to get to .19, especially for a big guy.

  10. Anyone know anything about this?

  11. I remember a very similar thread, but I don't recall the threat being made by that username. Now I'm curious, lol.

Yea it was morgandonor, I'm nearly certain. At least from the thread I recall which was also about fighting in a parking lot, and I think it was a tailgate scenario too.

I feel like MD was drunk and came back and apologized the next day. Or maybe that was another thread.

I think common thread about worst threads is usually someone drunk chimes in and things go haywire.

  12. Why do you think so? Odd that two ND guys would die under suspicious circumstances. That’s not something that happens often for our school. Let’s show a little higher level thought without superficial judgment.

I had the same thought. Atkinsons too. Tough run for these kids. Nix breaks my heart. Seemed like an amazing young man. Rest in peace.

  13. That kind of ransom attack is pretty common. I have worked for three different companies that were hit with varying degrees of ransomware pain. It is usually something more innocuous than this, just a locked server or something of the sort. This is a much bigger issue.

I may eat crow for it later but it sounds pretty overblown. It sounds like someone got access to a developer's machine and was able to pull local copies of source code and documents but I could be wrong. Curious to see how it plays out.

Guess it was less overblown than I thought. Source code reportedly sold at auction for million. I am definitely in the wrong address of the software business.

  14. I don't have the game, but I know there is a thread, and I just saw a headine that apparently, the game has been hit by hackers:

  15. Finished Cyberpunk, it was good even w/ the bugs. Now playing Ghosts of Tsushima, and it’s really good. The game mechanics for fighting are excellent.

I am still lingering trying to finish all the side gigs. I was considering going back and actually finishing the Witcher 3 after or maybe the FFVII remake. Rockets post about emulating has made me wonder whether I should go back and wrap up some classics. Ghosts look pretty awesome wondering if I might be doing myself a disservice playing it on PS4 instead of waiting to get a 5.

  16. I still have the PS2 with ALL my games. Have a big extension of xbox 360 games along with an emulator for all the old Nintendo and Sega Genesis games. Playstation is really pissing me off. I've been waiting for the backwards compatability and that's part of the reason I switched to xbox 360 for awhile too.

    First world problems no joke!

    .

I bought a PS2 off of Amazon used a couple years back it was terrible. I fired it up and smelled like an AA meeting came out of it. Someone had apparently been using it as a fancy ashtray, had to send it back.

I have an emulator for PS1 and 2, though the one for PS2 doesn’t run great. The one for Genesis was great, I had one for the Saturn but it is a nightmare to get set up correctly.
