  2. Appreciate it @Irish Chris! There's a learning curve, but it'll be better for everyone in the long run. I'm pretty confident about that. Thanks!

  3. Hey Domers! The next version of the Software is in Beta, which means in a few weeks / months, we'll be ready to upgrade. Don't worry, this will be extremely minor in comparison to the last update, and these typically happen once a year, occasionally twice. Each new version is usually 7 - 10 months apart. And these upgrades are usually focused around bug fixes & new features. Some of the bigger features to expect: Achievements - I have no idea how I'm going to incorporate them, but should be able to have some fun with it Web app & Push Notifications - This is somethi

  4. The assumption that teams 1-4 will dominate is baloney because a playoff ultimately spreads money. Money and exposure are the key to recruiting. I grew up watching Memphis football and basketball. I have one foot in that world and one in ND’s world. Calipari made a living at Memphis promising kids great facilities, his tenure as coach, and exposure. Play big nonconference games, sweep the conference, get in the tourney and make a run. Somebody like Malzahn at UCF could do the same and when he does, there will be extra money in the program and they will load up with recruits who

  8. Excited that it’ll be 100% capacity with a strong probability of no restrictions (i.e., tailgating is fine, no masks, etc.). Planning to go to every home game this year, plus make a road trip or two.

  12. CDC says vaccinated people with masks who can both carry the virus and transmit it don’t need to wear masks. Unvaccinated folks need to wear masks for their own protection. So, if that’s true, anybody pre-vaccine could have simply protected themselves by wearing a mask, regardless what the rest of the world did. So, why did anyone who didn’t want to wear a mask have to wear a mask??? What a sham... I mean, don’t get me wrong, I was protecting myself, but it’s not for me to tell someone else they had to wear a mask - their choice. Don’t give me that crap that they could infect someone

  15. Problem is the staff can’t get a WR ready to play till year 3. That has to change for 2022. No way they bring back all 5 seniors next year and do you want Wilkens or watts as your #1? This has little to do about jay transferring as it show a staff weakness in coaching the WR groups.

  16. Lenzy, Austin, Keys, and Wilkins never healthy. ND needs health this year as this position or they will have major issues. WR issues are really bad right now.

  17. It probably cannot get any worse than the current CFP in terms of concentration of teams. While an 12th seed might not win the 4 games needed for the NC, There is an increased chance for an upset since the Alabama, Ohio St, and Clemson's will each need to win one more game assuming that they stay ranked in the top 4. Right now, they basically play each other and only one other team like ND, Oklahoma, Georgia, LSU, etc. for the NC.

  18. I am all for 12 teams. The favorites may still win, but it gives more teams an opportunity and exposure. You never know what could happen. From what I have heard it sounds like it will happen because of the money. I would love for them to start it in December and have meaningful football right after the end of the regular season. I know nay sayers say 4 is enough because they don’t want to watch a bunch of blowouts. Even playoff blowouts would be better than more meaningless bowls that I don’t tune in for. I think eventually if more teams have a chance then the playing field in recruiting m

  20. Completely disagree. It would align it with every other sport. Automatic bids for conference champs and at large. And more importantly, it would give the small schools exposure to prove themselves and make money for facilities to recruit and ultimately retain coaches. I personally think it should be 14-16. Right now, the playoff is weak sauce, bullsh!t in my opinion.

  21. Part of the equation is depth in case of injury. To have two freshmen in the mix to be starters, suggests that adding another OL body is not the worst thing in the world.

  22. If anyone was wondering this changes my starting 5 to RT- Lugg RG- Madden C- Correll LG- Patterson LT- Fisher/Baker Strength of the line would be from Guard to Guard and you could have Patterson right next to Correll to make sure the center position went well and Right next to Fisher/Baker at the same time. Also for pass rush you could put a tight end right beside Fisher/Baker as well.

  23. If Marshall OL Cain Madden does indeed transfer to ND, then Kelly will have recruited at least two of the top ten transfers (Coan and Madden) Pretty good 2021 transfer portal results for what will become an increasing important part of team building for college football.

  30. As of today, ND should have 27 uncommitted official visitors in June. There are several other players on the fringes but I would expect later visits if ND needs to move on from another player. About 13 of the players visiting are expected to announce a decision this summer and that number could grow obviously now that visits are starting. I think ND will land 6-8 recruits this summer. Strong potential ND's class could be full going into the fall with the exception of the 1-2 'always find room' type of players.

  31. You are absolutely right, Faith! BC is a powerhouse in North Jersey as is St. Peter Prep where Simon graduated from. Another powerhouse is Don Bosco Prep. Our new frosh RB Audric Estme is from St Joseph Regional also in North Jersey, also a powerhouse,.. So much so that Harbaugh hired their coach Partridge a few years ago for his Skunkbear staff and, viola, all of a sudden there was a pipeline from St Joe to the Meatchickens.

  40. good find there JBROWN. Kelly has to let go of his need for skill players to be perfect before they see action. He uses playing time as a reward for "Being the complete Student Athlete" and such but there has to be another way.

  41. I just dont get how he can’t bring in better talent at the skill positions. It is a total head scratcher. I am not saying the numbers Alabama, OSU, or Clemson. But there is no excuse not to be able to bring at least 1 dynamic game changer at RB or WR every year. And develop more than 1 NFL quality QB in 10 years. It’s mind boggling with the record over the last 3 years that we are not any closer to competing with the big dogs and other teams who have done less are actually Catching back up to ND.

  43. I think ND has the players right now to be very very successful. IMO Rees is the key. Hard to believe that he is ND's OC, but he is. If he can design an offense to the strengths of the players, if he can create a dynamic game plan for each opponent, and if he can make effective in-game adjustments, I believe ND will surprise people and maybe go 11-1 regular season. On offense, as it stands, I don't see that a major injury at one or two positions will derail things. Depth is there. I think the O-line will be good at the start of the season and excellent later in the season. I'm
