  1. In case you all missed this during the transition. I think ND has a HUGE June and July. Quality and quantity. Side note, I cleaned the entire thread so all tweets are correct except where I was quoted, I cannot edit those. It no longer looks like spam tweets.

  3. Hello all. My name is Justin and I have been a Domer Domain member since 2013. I am active duty U.S. Air Force and have been in 20+ years. I am an aircraft mechanic by trade, and have worked on the F-15 and F-16. My most recent job is as the International Military Student Officer (IMSO) and Additional Duty First Sergeant for the 81st Fighter Squadron at Moody AFB, GA. There, we train foreign student pilots and maintainers on the A-29 Super Tucano light weight attack aircraft. I am married to a wonderful woman named Jen and we have been married for going on 17 years, but have been tog

  4. For your first issue, this software is defaulted to double spacing. If you hit [Enter/Return] it will automatically drop you down two spaces... ...Like this. A lot of people are unaware of this and already used to hitting it twice to get to a new paragraph so that makes it look... ...Like this. If you want to do down one line you have to hold [shift] and press [enter]... ...and it will look like this. Believe me, I get your frustration. Its a HUGE pet peeve of mine on a hockey forum that uses the same Invision software. I am a moderator there and I spend so

  5. Tyree is going to be so good. Williams is a beast, but with the weight gain and seeing lanes more clearly, Tyree is going to be something else.

  6. Going on right now. OL just worked out, now Book is throwing. He ran a 4.59 earlier, which is really good for him. Tremble ran a 4.59 as well, and Brock Wright ran a 4.6. McCloud ran a 4.37 (yes, really). Crawford ran a 4.47. Eichenberg put up 33 on the bench. Hainsey 32. Banks 24, which is probably disappointing for him. Book doing well throwing the ball, although a few drops by McKinley and one from Tremble (although it was a difficult catch).

  7. JOK did not run the 40 because of a hamstring issue, but did some of the other workouts and drills. He looks really impressive. Hard to see him not going in the first round.

  9. Pyne looks pretty good to me in this video. I know a lot of people here don't like his height and supposed lack of arm strength, but winners just win. Coan seems to have the inside track to the starting job, but in these videos it seems like he throws into traffic a lot. Clearly it's just the second spring practice. A lot of time to sort it out. I'll be happy with whoever the staff thinks will give ND the best chance to win. I hope that ND has plenty of opportunities to bring in the backup during games this year so he can get meaningful playing time, and not just to hand off the ball.

  11. This might be because tweets got blown up. So any post with tweets in it then got linked to a ton of other non ND tweets due to embedding from the original tweet. I’ve cleaned some of the main recruiting thread. It looks like a massive 247 advertisement in others though but it isn’t meant to be and will clean up over time.

  12. Really like this. The twitter feeds there for us to see. I love how easy it is to create a poll. The reaction/like button is there! (Bottom Right, looks like a heart) Reminders the helped me were: I click the topic instead of the persons screen name. The screename leads you to the persons profile, which is great but I usually want to reply or read the topic Threads are known as topics(Start a new topic, is the same as start a new thread used to be) Same video in thread functionality. Private messages work awesome(looks like an envelope Icon) have both f

  15. Huge, huge pick up! I know a lot of people were pulling for ND to take Wesolak, but Agu has more upside and is a vyper end, which was needed more than another power guy. This kid has a chance to be truly special.

  17. Any way to include a football schedule? I'd like to have one here, rather than having to go somewhere else to see when a game is coming up. Not a bit deal really, but might be of interest.

  18. Hi, If I did this right, there is a poll attached to this thread regarding the QB competition. Reps seemed evenly divided yesterday with Coan first. Who do you think will be ND's starter at QB?

  19. 1. New Ticket Listings need to be made via the Classifieds section of the forum (found in the main menu) 2. Listings are free for everyone. VIP Supporters have the option to create a Featured listing for free. 3. When there is a new listing, a topic will be made automatically in this forum. Members are open to respond to topics here. 4. If the ticket is sold and paid for via the website, there is a 10% commission from the sale that goes to the website's costs. 5. You are welcome to discuss payment in private, as well as meet-up if you prefer. If you sell the tickets outside of Domer D

  20. Absolutely. I have been doing SEO for over a decade, and for some very large publishers. Despite not being a Notre Dame fan, I am still a college sports fan and it's an industry I know very well. When I saw Domer Domain was for sale, I saw it had a very strong authority in the Notre Dame niche and I saw a lot of potential with it. The website gets a ton of direct traffic from a strong member base (all of you!), and that kind of authority takes years to build up. Here is a high-level plan on what I intend on doing. 1, Make the Blog / Website one of the top 3 places to go for Notr

  21. Even easier to do this is to click the dot to the left of the thread title. If it is a thread in which you've already posted then it will be a star instead of a dot.

  25. I think people should post what they want. I agree that it’s a bad look when people post odd or crazy things. But, what’s a conspiracy theory today may turn out to be the real truth tomorrow. Support with evidence, not feelings, what you post.

  26. I apologize. Not gonna lie... I’m at the beach, had a bunch with the guys, went to check DD and got frustrated I couldn’t find what I needed easily. I think I may have hallucinated a few things, as well. Anyway, after coming back to the board sober for a couple days, I actually think this looks really good. In particular, I like that we can like posts which I’ve always yearned for. Also, the layout is pretty good. There is a lot more functionality with the experience. again, I apologize. Thanks for the upgrades, Mike. I honestly don’t know where I saw ads or any of the other stuf

  29. I live in Wisconsin, and watch the badgers. I hope his arm strength is not better then Pyne, and he isn’t very mobile. Coan looked great against teams that had un-athletic defenses. Against the good teams he played very poor and his lack of arm strength was shown. I’m hoping for Pyne because if it’s Coan, we had better have a great Oline and run game. We can’t have him win games for us.

  34. This was an overhaul of a 13 year old version of vbulletin and a website running Joomla 1.0. It wasn't a minor upgrade and it was a major overhaul that took dozens and dozens of hours and brought everything up to current standards. Using forum software that doesn't even have meta descriptions or page titles, and hasn't been supported in over a decade is not how you grow a brand. have already been doing SEO full time for over a decade, and I will be transparent in my intentions / goals. Number 1 rule for SEO is too have a mobile friendly experience as rank is determined via the mobile rendering

  36. I think I know what you mean. In the most simplistic form, the reason for it is most likely to adapt to mobile. Over 50% of people view websites now from a mobile device, and this format easily adapts to both. The previous forum was desktop-only and allowed for much better precision since the design was primarily for PC / Mouse usage.

  37. Is there an edit post feature that I am missing? I don't see anything on the old posts that would allow me to change them. EDIT: Ok...so this one showed up with an Edit button but the above ones do not.

  38. Are you viewing on a phone/tablet or computer? This is a huge improvement for the phone/tablet users. I haven’t check on a computer yet but not sure the last time I used a computer outside of work. I miss the color scheme and I mentioned the Twitter posts issues in another thread. I was hesitant with change but this is much better than Irish Envy’s update. Give it time, Mike is just starting the updates and so far pretty darn good.
