Great news. It was also nice to see the other posters there wishing him luck. I'm sure there are others saying different things, but at least in those posts in the thread a few people showed some nice class.

I thought the same thing. Of course as much as I despise them at times, O$U is at or near the top and they shouldn't cry over one recruit.

The story supposedly goes that he was a silent to OSU for quite a while, even before he visited Columbus this summer. The expectation was that he would go public while there (think how Darius Fleming went public at the BG game last year), but he didn't. Staff tried to exercise patience with this deviation, but eventually that wore thin as they figured out this was more than just wanting to sit down with the family and make sure everyone was on board. So, Watt didn't really hold his end of the bargin all the way by pledging in Columbus (thank goodness), and OSU didn't hold off on offering other OL prospects, even though he supposedly had space available. So the story goes that is.

At any rate, lovin' what this does for the bigger picture. We had done enough recruiting on the interior line to fine a couple of legitimate starters; this year's haul gives us real depth in between the tackles.
