Sad. Being bored during this lockdown, I started rewatching old Who Wants to Be A Millionaire eps from 20 yrs ago. That show worked bc of him.

Beats the hell out of watching The View lol. Regis and Kathy Lee back in the day is so refreshing compared to the nonsense on now.

A fellow Irish alum who bled blue and gold at every opportunity he had on TV. Will be missed greatly. He also was a big believer in Catholic education and gave back tons of money to Catholic schools in NYC.

Notre dame aside...Regis brought a smile to my face so many times over the years...i will always be grateful for that...he made life more fun for so many...it was a gift we all got to share....

I was never a big fan of his show but there is no denying his love for ND or his friendly inviting personality. He exuded compassion and joy for his fellow man. He was a great ambassador of the university that is for sure. He will be missed but dang did he have a life to proud of. Definitely made the most of it.
