Watch and smile.
No in-person debates. It’s the only way Biden loses and the dems know it.

Even if it does happen, the networks and their debate moderators, especially CNN, are stacked against Trump.
Remember when Donna Brazile, then the DNC chair doubling as an analyst for CNN, gave the debate questions to the Clinton campaign before a CNN debate? (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...llary-clinton/)
Gosh, I wonder if that could possibly happen again.
And a Zoom debate? Gosh, I wonder if there’s any way that a little extracurricular help might occur before and during a debate. Hard to imagine. Hmmmm.

I have to ask again, why are the allowed to gather in large groups, some without masks? Meanwhile, Governors were trying to guilt people into not celebrating the 4th. This is garbage.

Like Putin sending in pop up blockers on Biden’s feed? This is two way street man, Trump would be lost in his twitter feed during an online debate.

Real talk, Biden beat Bernie in the last debate, if they have to pump him with aricept he will be ready. Both these guys could go down mid term. I am more enticed by the vps. I mean Pense is already handling Clovid per Trump right? So basically Trump is doing nothing already. He’s doing a bad job, Trump will go down in history as one of the worst presidents ever, and Jessiemore will cry. The end.

The fact that a struggling Biden is up by 10-13 points should really make you think how terrible Trump is as a president/candidate. Here are the other facts, if you take out those ****** Gravis/one network Polls, Peters and Kelly are dominating in Az and MI. Biden has 222 in the bag, those states wrap this **** up. There is not a chance Trump wins those states with those senate numbers. Look at the senate numbers.

Jessie, this one is for you. Did you know that the the Russian organized protesters from both sides. Your side (the white nationalist) versus others during the last election? Did you know? It’s documented, I can provide solid proof and not your stupid *** bs conspiracy[shot. Get out the basement son. Oh you’re diggin that basement deep, got that racist Kung flu going on, got that Bubba Wallace hate. Just keep digging and diggin. While you sit at that desk, collecting that government check, that socialist health and pension.....

Calling deep state, while collecting checks from the deep state. I’ve seen that story before...oh it was from you, right? What’s the difference from you post on Dd all day doing nothing from your desk and someone on welfare collecting a check?

Still watching that show you promised. Not seeing the leadership, shits getting worse in this country. Still watching, hoping for better. Glad you are okay collecting that govt money, many people are not.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Twitter can do whatever the **** it wants to do. I am so sick of the “free market” part of this country whining over Twitter banning them. The right should Stop saying stupid **** and realize that they can do whatever they want, it’s you side that made a corporation a citizen and gave them rights. So unless you want to “socialize” twitter stop.

I did have a few beers, read it over. Yeah, it still makes sense. You’ve been rambling nonsense for 20 pages of this thread. “Kung FLu”, “Juicy Smollett”, talking Obama conspiracies. You might as well be a Russian bot. You used to be better, actually doing a little research and having a few point here and there. Now it’s just right wing himajog.

Let me make my post simpler for you. You post **** all day and judging by your posts are stuck on right wing sites gathering talking points. Then you cry about socialism, while the government pays your salary and for you healthcare.

No doubt. It is absolutely a two way street.
The DNC will make sure that Joe has good Namenda/Aricept balance and levels.
Trump would get easily distracted by campaign personnel feeding him information during a Zoom debate.

Trump can't win the election unless Joe stumbles incredibly badly. The only way Joe stumbles is if the dems put him on display a lot. Joe did okay in the democratic primary debates. He is not as good of a debater as Ted Cruz, though, and Trump made Ted crumble. Trump is not a good debater on issues, but he does have a way of coming out of debates as a winner, or at least not as the loser of the debate. The DNC knows Joe essentially can't lose the election, so I'll be surprised if they allow an in-person debate to take place.

I agree. Either live or Zoom though the debates are going to be bad tv. I believe the strategy is reallly going to be Obama. Heís the wildcard and I bet we see so much Obama starting next month that we may forget heís not the one running. I foresee ads with him etc from the campaign. This will also drive Trump into a tizzy because he knows he canít match Obama, but will for sure try. This will offer a distraction away from Biden. We know Trump is like a 12 year old, he will for sure go down the hole the DNC will setup.

I'll admit that I've been surprised that Obama hasn't already had more of a presence. To me his support has been tepid at best.
But I suspect you're right. Obama may become a huge factor in the next few months. Possibly not if the Durham report has anything substantial on the Obama administration in it, but it will be shocking if it does.

I appreciate reading your posts Kelly, along with some of the other contributors here such as Echo, Jim2Dokes, ColtsRB, Jesse et al. I may not agree with everything you say, but generally you give some basis of reasoning for your viewpoints and that is commendable.

On the other hand, there are the 'F you socialist soy boy latte commie pos grow a sack' comments that pretty much do nothing to contribute to any kind of meaningful discussion.

Meanwhile - Trump is celebrating making America the "best" in the world. He is well on track to exceeding his goal of killing more American's than WWII. He is proud of the fact than he will avenge the 258,000 confederate deaths in the Civil War with only some collateral damage.
____________

The first week of July saw almost 300,000 new US COVID-19 cases, the Washington Post reports, and 7-day averages in 12 states hit record highs, with marked increases in case detection in West Virginia, Tennessee, and Montana.

And in three states that have been hit hardest with the virus this summeróArizona, Texas, and Floridaóhospitalization rates, including intensive care unit (ICU) admissions, are increasing at an alarming rate.

Yesterday Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego told National Public Radio her city was in crisis.

"We are in a crisis situation with our health care. We have reached the level where over 90% of our ICU beds are in use. And we are quite worried that after the Fourth of July weekend, we will see another large growth in COVID-19 admissions to the hospital,Ē Gallego said.

Yesterday Arizona hit the 100,000-case milestone, and the Department of Health announced 89% of the state's ICU beds were occupied. Two weeks ago, the state had only 50,000 cases. The Department of Health said more than 62,000 of the 101,441 COVID-19 cases are reported in people younger than 44.

The number of Texans hospitalized for the novel virus has doubled in the last 2 weeks, to almost 8,700 people, the Texas Tribune reports. Yesterday Texas topped 200,000 infections, with 200,557 cases.

Finally in Florida, 43 hospital ICUs in 21 counties, including in Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, have hit capacity.

According to the tracker maintained by Johns Hopkins University, the United States has 2,966,409 COVID-19 cases, including 130,902 deaths.

PPE shortage
The recent surge of cases and increase in hospitalizations has led to a shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers. Though the shortage is not as bad as it was in April, many workers report having to reuse their PPE during shifts, the Associated Press reports.

"We're five months into this and there are still shortages of gowns, hair covers, shoe covers, masks, N95 masks," said Deborah Burger, president of National Nurses United. "They're being doled out, and we're still being told to reuse them."

In addition to direct hospitalizations due to COVID-19, US hospitals now report at least 5,000 cases of nosocomial (in-hospital) spread of the virus detected from May 14 to Jun 21, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). And the number is likely higher, as those cases are just in admitted patients, and not hospital staff.
