More crystal balls rolling in for Colzie on 247. Toooon of momentum in NDís favor right now it would seem.

I don't want to pick on kids...but does this kid look like he has cement shoes on when he runs. Or he has really bad shin splints or something. Not much explosiveness off the line. His route running needs a ton of improvement. Besides his size, am I missing something? I probably just need more tape...

I have not watched his tape or highlights. However, I feel pretty good about the schools that have offered him and their evaluations of his ability.

He has a knee issue right now I think. He kind of has the Boykin style running. Believe his laser time was 4.56 last year.

There was some video out there of him working out in the summer, running routes, etc. He really looked fluid and fast. Not sure where it was from or I would have shared it, but it was either on Rivals or 247

“It definitely comes down to the school itself – academically. Football doesn’t last forever. I want a school where a degree from there would be hold a lot of weight. Also, a family atmosphere where I can feel at home and feel comfortable, and somewhere that my family is comfortable with. That’s the best place for me.”
As if ND fans needed more confidence.
Rivals commitment day preview.
If we can add Jayden Thomas, this would be one of the top WR classes in my memory (at least back to Stovall and McKnight but probably back further).

If they can add Thomas and Thornton and move Styles to corner and keep Abiara then we will see a top 10 class or bettrr!

Is moving Styles to DB even an option? Is he any good at the position currently?

Many in the recruiting world think he is a better CB than WR. In a recent interview, he stated that he was open to playing CB if ND can land a few more WRs. Landing Colzie today and Jayden Thomas on Friday would certainly help.

As of today, I think Styles remains at WR and they find another DB.

This is the right move, IMHO. This WR class is an amazing strength. If we land Thomas, it puts it decidedly above 2008, 2007 or 2002. All of those classes had two elite WR recruits and only one of them truly fulfilled its potential. These three are perfect complements to each other and protect against one of them not fully realizing his potential.
