Picked up a sixer of RJ Rockers (Spartanburg, SC) BellRinger double pale ale this weekend. Pretty tasty.

Picked up a six pack of Lagunitas PILS last night. They are quite good.

If anyone is in the Pittsburgh area, I highly recommend House of a 1,000 Beers.

www.houseof1000beers.com

Art and John are the most friendly guys I have ever met, they made us feel welcome and the selection of beers they have is mind boggling. I paid for beer three times after seeing more the second and third time I perused their shelves...

Finally found some Not your fathers root beer in Cincinnati this past weekend. I got to taste it a few weeks back and really liked it and have been searching for it since. http://smalltownbrewery.com/our-beers/

That stuff is everywhere in Fort Wayne. It's really good, but expensive.

Make sure you have a spare sixer to get the taste out afterwards.

Have some of the pale ale, it will calm your tummy down.

Well start with some nice pale ales and work your way up. Going from PBR to double anything is going to be too strong. It is an aquired taste.

Was back home in Kalamazoo for the 4th of July. Bells has really stepped up the brewery & bar downtown. Notice the Habanero Oberon!!

MY GF had the same response, so I turned her on to Saisons and Witts. Now she loves them

Is cider gaining in popularity in the U.S. as it is up here? It's probably the fastest growing product in our liquor stores...

Not in Socal. It had its time about 5-6 years ago.

Aye, Cali is in the midst of the great craft beer renaissance. I can't walk out my front door without tripping over four or five brewmasters trying to steal my doormat to make the next great Sneaker Stout.
