I get it...we were f'ed on Rockets return. I loved Lou's teams though. Good God the amount of talent on display. Two top 10 all time NFL rushers in Bettis and Watters, Rocket, Mirer, Lyght, Zorro, Brown, Stonebreaker, so many greats.

Ricky Watters

Was in 12th place for career rushing yards after 2000

Even though he played in 2001, he dropped to 13th after Jerome Bettis passed him during the 2001 season,.

After 2019 season,

24th rushing yards all time (as of now)

40th combined yards of all time (as of now)

I was at this game. On crutches in the upper balcony thanks to a severely rolled ankle the day before. So many painful parts of that memory....

I wasn’t even alive during this game. That 90’ season as a whole was disappointing. How the he’ll do you lose to Stanford at home! Also losing to Penn St was awful.

You lose to Stanford by having Bill Walsh analyze your games for NBC the year before, then have him take the Stanford job and then schedule that game at the end of exam week.

That was a Dennis Green led Stanford team. The Walsh loss was in 1992.
