Default ND Beats Pitt 80-72

ND wins their third straight ACC game (can't tell you the last time that happened - at least since 2018, if not longer), beating Pitt by 8 at home.

ND took care of business their last three games - now 14-8 overall and 5-6 in the ACC. The ACC is really down this season, so not sure a .500-ish record will get ND to the Dance, but at least they've been playing well since the new year.

Gibbs had 21 and Mooney had another double-double (it's a crime he wasn't named one of the 20 finalists for the Wooden Award). Irish really shooting the ball well lately.

Tough three game stretch coming up: at Clemson (Sunday), at Virginia (2/11), and at Duke (2/15). ND needs to beat Clemson and at least go 1-2 in that stretch.

Gotta get the Clemson game at least. They aren't a good team, but road games are always tough in the ACC - even in a down year. The team has talent and the sophomore class is really coming along. It just sucks the depth is such a major issue. Good to see Brey getting Djogo some minutes so other guys can get some extra minutes of rest.

Those close losses earlier may come back to bite then=m in the butt unless they extended this streak to 6 in a row
