Default Top five NFL players

That are currently on our roster.

Who has the biggest impact at the next level?

1) J Smith
2) Nix
3) Tuitt
4) Folston

What do you think?

1)J.Smith
2)Tuitt
3)Nix
4)Elmer
5)Russell

That was pretty tough because there's a lot of NFL talent that BK has brought in and developed. I think Niklas will make a huge impact, I think Jones will have a great career in the slot, and a few others. The o-line we are building with recruiting is going to be such a force I think defenses will be scared to face.

Anyone putting Jaylon on this list is putting the cart before the horse...way too premature to be putting the kid on an NFL pedestal...

And yet you have no objection to the Russell, Folston, and Elmer entries above?

1. Nix
2. Tuitt
3. C. Robinson
4. J. Smith
5. K. Russell

Not in any particular order. I agree, this ND team and upcoming classes will have a lot of guys playing in the NFL. It is hard to pick just five.

There are my top 5

Nix...1st round pick
Tuitt...when he decides to go will be 1st round pick
Shembo.....IMO somebody is going to pick him up and be a Cameron Wake type player
Niklas.....still raw but gets better every game
Russell.... I will be honest, i trashed this kid last season but what a turn around. He is proving to be a great CB, learns very fast and is getting better.

***J.Smith is still way to young. But he is a turning into a bada**

I was thinking the same thing in regards to Shembo. I think he is a very underrated pro prospect, and if the right team picks him, he could be a quality starter in the NFL.

Wait till you guys see Max Redfield play... So freakishly athletic. He will be a first rounder before it's all said and done IMO

Jalen is going to he a stud if he stays healthy. No doubt in my mind. He has NFL talent written all over him. No doubt. Maybe the most physically/naturally gifted player on the entire team.

I'd put Ronnie Stanley in there... He'll be a 4 year starter if he comes back for a 5th year. Athletic, great frame, long arms. He will be a great pro

1. Nix
2. Tuitt
3. Zack Martin
4. Niklas
5. Stanley

I went really conservative by going upperclass lineman, always need those in the NFL. I think Jaylon will be a stud NFL prospect if his trajectory continues on the same line. Also, Keivarae could be a solid NFL DB so long as he avoids the Gary Gray/Bennett Jackson upperclassmen regression curse. Finally, TJ/Davaris/young offensive skill guys all have good shots but I shied away from them because skill guys in the NFL can have short careers.

Surprised there's not more love for Zack Martin, I think he'll have a long career.

very smart statement. People overlook Stanley far too quick. He is a redshirt freshman who could be a 4 year starter. I think he will be the best Offensive lineman drafted from ND in recent years and years to come.

I would say:
1. Nix
2. Tuitt
3. Jaylon Smith
4. Ronnie Stanley
5. Troy Niklas

I think Robinson can have a very nice career at ND... but I don't see him making any impact at the NFL level... UDFA and practice squad at best IMO.

1. Nix (obvious)
2. Tuitt (obvious)
3. Niklas (size & speed can't be taught)
4. Jaylon Smith (still raw, but learning fast & speed can't be taught)
5. Shembo

Honorable mentions

1. Davaris Daniels
2. Elmer (early, but size & smarts... )
3. Day
4. Stanley
5. Folston (only because he's beaten out everyone as a Frosh)

I was thinking about putting Daniels instead, but it is hard to teach smarts. Gifted, but seemingly always on the wrong page.
