As I wrote in another thread, I don’t care what the score is as long as ND wins and we come out unscathed for Georgia. I want BK prepping for Georgia for the next three weeks.

If Davie was on the sideline this could have at least been an interesting game but with him sitting out due to health issues this seems like a flat tire.

Hope BD gets well soon.

Agree. Too bad he will miss his "homecoming" game

Above is a little longer video of the game. Below is a screen shot. The Lobo's must've switched to an Air Raid Spread offense. They have a shifty running back and a drop back QB the play I diagrammed is a slot out where the slot also known as the #3 receiver runs a Deep out replacing #1 and #2 receiver who run in-breaking slant routes. Its designed to make the #3 DB uncomfortable who is used to covering inside routes and force him to play an out-breaking route. Impressive Throw by the QB who completes this deep out to the sideline.

This game will be a good test for our DB's because you'll probably see our dime package(4 CB's 1 LB 2 Safeties= 4-1-6 also known as dime defense becaus of having 2 nickel backs and two nickels equaling a dime ) on defense.

I'm guessing

1. Pride
2. Crawford
3. Bracy
4. Hamilton

At least I think thats what I saw when I was watching the game last Monday, but I was in chat, updating the DomerDomain twitter and stuff, so I'd need to rewatch a part of the game and see who was in when 14 Hamilton was.

Edit: The Lobos Actually played two QB's in last weeks game

The top deep out pass is JuCo transfer Brandt Hughes.

The second option look is Senior Sheriron Jones. More mobile, less overall arm-power, the more accurate QB I guess but both had low percentages last week.

Default lobos defense

This is kinda what they do on defense. Its pretty typical that schools that don't successfully recruit alot of Defensive Lineman go to a 3 Man front and more undersized LB and DB's. We should be able to run and in a perfect world both Book and Jurkovec(because we get a lead) would get to work on their intermediate and deep passing accuracy

This will be a good test for Book since he seems skiddish when confronted with a lot of folks dropping in coverage. He's going to get his chance to get comfortable with throwing the ball up to let our receivers make a play. Hopefully, he'll be able to practice his progressions a little more, as well.
