If you decide to go to Michigan, you’re a p***y, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Muly kids will necer consider Michigan regardless of their talents or Michigan’s offerings. Why? Because their graduates are a**holes.

(At Atlantis and three bottles of wine deep to edn the evening. Ignore typos and being an a **hole myself.)

Jay Brunelle (WR) is committing at 4:00 PM today. Sounds like ND is now the favorite after he was rumored to be on the verge of committing to Michigan on Monday/Tuesday.

Wonder if the other one is Watts to go along with Brunelle. Beginning of year was hoping Johnson McMillan Henning. Kind of a let down. Hope the other 2 prove me wrong

Looks like we are going to finish this class with high upside or solid 3 star types. Unless we hold a few spots. With a great season we may be able to flip some late

He'd already been removed from the Big Board, as it had been trending away for a while, but A.J. Henning made it official today by committing to Michigan.

Make sure you mention Aaron Banks and Jack Lamb. Two guys that Washington very much wanted. Plenty of others as well.

ND has their first 5 star WR commit in a long time on board. Something to remember.

Recruiting is now in a brief dead period until mid-July. The goal for the next month or so will be to get Caleb Offord and Xavier Watts on board. Then figure out what to do with William Nixon. Most likely after that the staff will have the room to add 3-4 more players, which will take them into the fall. Most likely another DB and then a WR/DE or best available. IMO I'd see how the first 3-4 games of the season go for ND and other teams then go hard after the best ones you can.

I hope they land / take Nixon even if they get Offord and eventually move one of them to S. Sounds like each of them has good length and can run.

Cody Simon commits to Ohio State. ND hadn't been pushing for a while, but I think this will be one they regret down the line. There are a lot of LBs on the roster, but Simon is a consensus Top 200 player and should be a good college LB.

No question. Iíve always felt you donít reject any kid that wants on board whose in the top 200. You make it fit unless you absolutely have a need somewhere else. The defensive side of the ball to me is more important on recruiting then the offensive side. The way the rules are nowadays, you can always find guys to plug in the WR and RB positions if needed. Hopefully he doesnít hurt us down the road....

Just a strange situation. He was set to visit ND during the big recruiting weekend on June 21, but ND told him to hold off and wait until the fall. Apparently, he was ready to commit to ND.

He is #37 overall on Rivals and #355 overall on 247. Pretty big difference.

His four finalists were: ND, Miami, Florida State, and Purdue. He had some pretty big offers (Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia), but who knows which offers were committable - it sounds like ND's wasn't because they are all in on Xavier Watts. If he stays home and chooses Nebraska, who knows where ND goes at WR.
