Sounds like he allegedly had a physical altercation with a police officer and was resisting arrest. Booked at 4:47AM by NDPD on Feb. 10.

Hate to see this about any player, especially a ND player. From a pure football standpoint, better him than one of our main guys. Lot of rumors he was out the door anyways.

Hope Javon can get this situation resolved, finish his degree and move on with his life without this over his shoulder.

ATTENTION NOTRE DAME STUDENTS! YES, THERE ARE "SECURITY PERSONNEL" ON CAMPUS. YOU WILL NOTICE THEM BY THEIR WIND BREAKER JACKETS OR POLO TYPE SHIRTS. THOSE GUYS WITH GUNS ON THEIR SIDES AND BADGES? YES, THEY ARE STATE CERTIFIED POLICE OFFICERS! DO NOT FIGHT WITH THEM. YOU WILL BE REALLY ARRESTED AND REALLY GO TO THE REAL COUNTY JAIL! THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION!

He's attending Mendoza and majoring in marketing, correct? If so, this is a poor optic for his post football marketing career. I know these guys are still mentally kids but come on already. Be better than this.

If he wasn't gone already, he probably is now. One less scholly to count against the roster when the numbers need to be crunched.

Chalk him down as another bust.

#11 receiver and 59th nationally and I do not believe he ever played a meaningful snap.

I don't think he even played in a dozen games over the course of three seasons. I can't even remember what number he wore.

Guarantee Tommy Reese will be approached by coach to handle this. Unless the kid has a history of issues then I think this goes down as a teaching lesson. Granted the charge is punching an officer. The kid was minding his own business, though drunk as he was, and people put their hands on him - trying to help as they may. He reacted to their touch like stupid drunks do. Can't they just lock him up in a stockade and let him go as they used to in westerns?
