You would be to if you were getting zero pressure from your boss and making over $5 million a year.

Reading is fundamental. Zero pressure from his boss. If Jack was putting the screws to Kelly he would age overnight.
I love how you read what you want to read and respond accordingly.

Go Irish! Beat Navy.

PS - Did anyone realize that Reggie Brooks got his 15 seconds (1 second) of fame in the movie Air Force One - game in 1990 vs Michigan playing on the TV.

Managed to get a penalty for running on to the field during the game. Smooth move. This guy is corny and his gimmick is played out.

Played out? He is 9-1 and if it werenít for his offence executing poorly in the red zone they win that game.

His entire persona is to build his personal brand. He claims to not want attention, but his actions suggest otherwise

Any other coaches run on the field this season?

Perhaps during an onside kick?

I guess the difference is that Kelly did not get a penalty even though he should have

Shocking that elder started this thread up again to blow smoke up his own crapper. Yes PJ fleck lost to a ranked team on the road so hes a terribly overrated bum but Kelly has done that same thing how many times in a decade? But he should get a lifetime contract right?

Kirk Ferentz is 7-2 at home v Top10 teams since Ď08. Would you guys rather switch places with Iowa?

And Kelly has had much superior talent. If you donít want to like Fleck because of his antics , fine. But, what he has done with mostly 2 star recruits is a great coaching job. Give Fleck NDs talent and I think you see Minnesota handle Iowa easily. I get Iowa is not a great team, but they are top 20 with a top 10 pick at DE, and is always good in the trenches. Minnesota plays tough on defense and seems noticeably faster then they did when he took over. Living in Wisconsin and watching the badgers every year also, I can see how far Minnesota has come in just a few years. Fleckís antics work because itís genuine, not some gimmick. The guy is like that every game, has a ton of enthusiasm ,and seems to love his players, and those players play hard for him.

I have always wondered what he would do with a roster like ours, or recruiting advantages like us or other top programs. I think he would run a program like Sabanís early Bama teams . Think he probably wins at least one Championship. He loves Iowa, and will never leave, but Iíll always wonder what if he didnít coach at Iowa.

How many of those games they lost, did they have superior talent? Ithink Kirk does the best he can with his talent. I think he is a great coach, but his deficiency is recruiting and adapting with the times. Recruiting is tough being in Iowa, and he knows all he can recruit from his state is offensive lineman. So he runs a 1970s big ten offense. He has had years where if they could score 20 points a game they win the big ten. But offense as been a abysmal for years there. Pretty much since Dallas Clark left lol.

If his receiver doesn't drop the ball twice in the endzone they win that game.

Still, he should have kicked the field goal on 4th and 4 even though the play should have worked out. He's a bit too aggressive sometimes.

On a side note, Man their kicker sucks.

All this bickering amongst friends is for not. Kelly will be here until he decides to leave. Fleck will be at FSU or something by then. All this talk of the next big coach is mute. There was a time when Kelly was the next big thing, Charlie Strong, Tom Herman was supposed to lead Texas this year to big things, rich Rod, ect ect. I could go on and on. Truth is until one is at one of these big time programs it is unknown how they will do. Saban the exception as he had already done well at MSU and LSU.
