This guy and JJ cannot sign soon enough. We are very close. Just missing another game breaker or two.

Maybe some checking in but not pushing. If he has a season like his sophomore one then I could see them definitely picking it up as a best available later in the year.

For the rest of the class I would anticipate 2 DBs and one best available (or leave it for 2021)

There are several 2021 and 2022 kids visiting as well. No huge names but solid prospects.

That scholly could go to a guy like Isaiah Pryor as well. Transfer from OSU. Safety that ND was in the mix for out of HS, and very highly regarded. Looks like ND is in it for him and should receive a visit.

Immediately eligible and has 2 years as a grad transfer.

Recruiting is still dead. Haven't really heard much of any new names emerging. Kinda shocking

I havenít followed recruiting much the last few years but looking at this class and Iím worried about our numbers on the defensive line. Are we in line for another few ends and tackles?

We are stacked on the d line and we got 4 in this class. We could add 1 more if it was the right fit but not necessary

I know the 2020 class is mostly full but should there not be a couple of 2020 uncommitted recruits at the USC game? Are we that full or is there just not anyone interested?

Just not many names on the board right now. Henderson visited for UVA. It sounds like ND is not pushing for Malcolm Greene (not sure why). Not many other guys besides those two.

I bet new names emerge later this fall. They have to because DB recruiting is in a really bad spot right now.

It sounds like ND is on some kids currently committed elsewhere (not sure specifically who, but it sounds like one is Jalen McMillan).

Could they be thinking that they have a good shot to land the OSU safety transfer with a good visit to USC game?

Not sure what is going on with this 2020 class. Maybe its just lack of reporting. Otherwise, its gone crickets. The fact you cant get any non-committed guys to your biggest home game of the season is odd.

If we get Pryor though I would be happy. I think he could start for us next season with Hamilton and play the Gilman role.

I would bet on this and that they see one of the current commits as a S. Henderson and Pryor would give them the desired 5 DBs and all are immediately able to play.

This was always gonna be a small class and ND filled up pretty quickly. ND has mostly moved on to 2021, which is a good thing to a certain extent. Get all these big name 2021 kids on campus early against your biggest rival and make them feel like the priority of the weekend.

Consensus 4-star: #111 overall on Rivals and #287 overall on 247. Has offers from Clemson, FSU, Miami, and Penn State, among others.

A few random recruiting thoughts:

- If ND comes through and beats Michigan to continue on the 11-1 path it will be interesting to see if any bigger names come calling in late November. NDs class is pretty much done provided they land OSU transfer Isaiah Pryor.

- I'm intrigued by DL Aidan Keanaaina. He currently gets double and triple teamed all game and still makes plays. By the time he gets to ND he will have spent two years training very regularly with a former NFL player. ND won't need him right away but his size and technique are not currently on the roster.

- I'm also intrigued by DL Alexander Ehrensberger. He took his OV for USC and there has been no word from him. In photos he appeared slightly shorter than his listed 6'7 but going back to older workout photos he appears all of 6'7. Either way I would take another Ade sized kid. He will by 20 years old half way through his first spring camp at ND. He will have spent 2 years training with former NFL players in Europe.

There is a poster on NDNation, jt, who played college football and has been involved with coaching high school football in the Denver area. Anyways, jt has been a big fan of Aidan from the very beginning.
