It’s hard to win at your alma mater. Michigan should of known better.
Harbaughs’s problem has been getting a qb. ESPN I believe had a good article of Harbaughs struggle of finding a top qb. When he got there they didn’t have anyone. So he recruited a top qb, forgot the name who eventually became a tightend. Then he went the transfer route. Only to have one suck and one got injured. They were hoping for mCcafrey to be the guy but he was fragile and transferred out after Mixon won the job. Really, very scary paths of recruiting and developing qbs at Michigan as Kelly has had at ND.

And yet Kelly has the longest win streak in the country. Routinely ranked top 10. Been ranked #1. Been to the playoffs. Been to the National Championship game. Been undefeated in the regular season.

All true. Kelly also had a 4-8 season. Maybe this is Harbaugh’s? I’m just saying, their paths are eerily similar and I could still see them keeping him and they come back stronger. Just like Kelly.
Also, they play in a conference and there rival is tOSU. A much better team than anyone ND plays yearly. It’s like when ND was fighting its way back and the poodle and USC was kicking our asses yearly. Hard to build a program when your rival is that much better taking away any decent recruit that you may be in on and then you lose by 14. High recruits tend to turn away from that.

We’ve been playing Clemson and FSU alternatively. Also had Oklahoma and Georgia. And USC. And Stanford. And LSU. And Texas. And Ohio State. And Alabama. We were going to play Wisconsin this year, too.

Routinely beat Stanford and USC.
We did beat FSU the year they won the Championship but the refs stole the game but we all saw the game winning touchdown.
Beat Clemson obviously.

OSU is one garbage team that lost to Clemson 31-0.

Then why has this message board and ND fans alike been saying BK can’t win a big game? Because he hasn’t until last week. Oklahoma in 2012. A 9-3 LSU team that had a lot of guys not even playing.
USC when Carroll left. Stanford when Harbaughs guys all left.
Again, the point, Michigan has been stagnant just like ND in terms of big wins against quality opponents. Top 10 opponents. Michigan is about two years away from where ND was in 2016. They have a decent defense usually. They just lack top talent at the skill positions and QB. Sound familiar? They would be stupid to dismiss Harbaugh after this season.
