Default What we've learned
1. I can put the Ian Book Phil Jurkovec thing to bed. Ian's still the starter.
2. Sloppy, tired still a 45 point performance.
3. Defense can still play better and must against UNC in 2 weeks.
4. Nice win, with lots of coaching points.

Agree, finally we saw the difference between Book and Jurkovec. Sometimes recruiting stars mean nothing.

Lots to improve on from today. Considering the circumstances of this game following last week's I am happy with the outcome. I would have liked to have seen some better ball control, obviously.

They also gave up fitty-three! NC only can win shootouts and they have not played a defense as good as ND!

You’re being deliberately dishonest. Book made some tremendous individual plays. Jurkovec had some highlights but also made a ton of mistakes that had nothing to do with his personnel.

I wish Jurkovec had stayed, he clearly has talent. However, he chose to leave ND, and it’s clear he didn’t deserve to usurp Book as the starter.

Certainly, Jurk is playing against a stronger defense with a less skilled offensive line. Gotta have a little something to do with it.

Book has raised his play to a level the last few games that I didn't believe he could achieve anymore. Love to see it, the WR are coming along nicely as well.
