Default Book is OUR QB!

Thank You courtesy of One Foot Down...as typical of many ND fans, many were hoping Phil would show ND what they were missing by not pushing him ahead of Book on the depth chart but think this article pretty much sums up the reality, despite ESPN agitating said Book hater fanbase.

Can this now be put to rest permanently and focus on our team, which is peaking ahead of the critical stretch of the season and path the to the ACC Championship game? GO IRISH!

I felt Ian protected the ball much better and Jurkovec is more of a risk taker. Each has different strengths, but Ian played a superior game yesterday. He's playing great right now.

Book was great again. In full command and we dominated.

As for Jurk, am still pissed that one pick off by Hamilton was called back for some PHANTOM face mask. Wherever this phantom call happened, had nothing to do with Jurkovec's horroble throw right to Hamilton.

Jurk also got super lucky on another throw Hamilton could have picked off.

Book vs Jurk? Man vs boy....its no wonder Jurkovec bailed, Book is miles better.

Itís clear Jurkovec has a higher ceiling, but he makes far too many mistakes.

Yeah he's like a high volume shooter in basketball right now. It took him like 13 more passes to get like 10 less yards than Book

Books efficiency allowed us to run the ball too, he was the leading rusher(don't want any part of that stat very often, QB's that are leading rushers take a lot of hits)

It hurts not to have the Depth Kelly and company developed at QB. Yes, I said it.

Just because 1 QB plays, this narrative that the other guy is lagging behind gets created.

Phil is our modern Andrew Hendrix but Andrew waited until he graduated and then I think played for Coach Martin at Miami.

Phils departure causes the Kelly QB stereotype to be added to, because now are depth chart Kinda reads 1....3...4.. So if Book needs time off, the Narrative becomes Kelly can't develop a QB and on and on.

The only thing that’s clear to me is the Jurk is physically bigger, and can throw a football further.....he has not shown me that he has a higher ceiling.

Let's see how Phil is in three years. FYI, as of date PJ is rated higher than Book.

Ummmmmm, Book as three more years than PJ. Book as an OL, Book has great TE's.

We'll see who's in the NFL in three years. Also, PJ is higher rated QB in CFB with half the talent. Not saying he's not better than PJ right now, but Book is not an elite QB, and never will be.
