Default ND Loses to Syracuse at Home

Lost 84-82.

No idea what happens at the end of games with this team, but they are incredibly frustrating to watch.

Last 5 losses have all been by 5 points or less.

Ever watch a game and know the exact moment when we are going to lose? When Hubb threw the pass to Goodwin and it hit him in the back of the head, I knew that was the game. We never got it back after that.
Just some dumb plays and missing some chippies at the end.

It was a great game with good back and forth. We just need to close.

Very frustrating, indeed. They need someone step up big at the end. I think the ball needs to be in Mooney's hands and only his at crunch time.

I know Mooney just disappeared for awhile that game. I am not sure if he wears contacts and had a problem with them or what. But Syracuse inside game su(ks and we did not take advantage of that. Also Syracuse had way to many second chances on the offense boards. I feel sorry for Brey but it is his own fault in not recruiting the appropriate skills. Even Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim said he knows that Syracuse does not have the necessary skill set on his team but he plays his son and Joe Girard at the same time because they are the only ones that can score on his team outside of Hughes. So Boeheim will sacrifice the defense side to get points on the board and out score the other team. I feel like Breys team has no identity ....
