Book looked good again, as long as heís using his legs he seems to be effective.

This run game is very uninspiring, we need to see some of the younger backs because Jones and Armstrong are way too slow.

Nice opening drive. Defense needs to play now.

Is Bilal eligible for a 5th year? I havenít seen a player improve so much from week 1 since Jonas Gray in 2011.

Book will look awesome today. NDs athletes are so much better heíll feel no pressure and WR will be wide open. Expect a big day.

If we finish 10-2 and Book can play like this in the bowl game then 2020 is looking good.

Book will always play like this vs bad teams. Then heíll struggle vs the top teams. Same with Reed. ND needs an upgrade.

Default Its a track meet, boyz

Wow, Braden Lenzy. Nice long bombs from Book. I know its Navy, boyz, but this looks nice today. Chase is a first round NFL pick!!! Defense is being resourceful and forcing turnovers.

Iím holding out hope, he still has a chance to prove himself in the bowl game.

Plus he didnít start taking off with the ball until Duke. Even last year his best games were always when he was using his legs often.

Up 28-0 with 8 minutes to go and the board is very quiet.

I swear half the posters only come on here to whine and complain.

1/2 might be a low estimate. However, itís not exclusive to ND, itís the culture of CF Forums in general. Even Bama fans arenít happy most of the time

This has been a growing trend the last few years and itís quite noticeable.

On the bright side Lea has this defense playing so sound. Besides that USC and Michigan game he has had this defense playing phenomenal.

Nothing I love more than watching us completely dominate navy. I have never liked their smug *** coach.

Gotta give Kelly credit for the first half. He says he prepares the team for Navy year round and it has showed.

Safe to expand the scope of that statement, as I can attest; it's the same on pro sports forums as well. I don't follow MLB, but NHL, NBA, NFL forums, no different; in NCAA football and the 3 pro leagues I follow, there are only 4 winners every year, and, purportedly 200+ losers. If the ol' team isn't one of those four, there is no satisfaction to be derived from wins, or a decent season, the coach is an idiot, the players are bums, the administration/front office/ownership are idiots - all is a black hole of despair from which no light can escape. It's kinda sad, and at the same time makes me feel kinda simple for having enjoyed the first half as much as I did.

Our QB is beating cover 1. Navy cannot play the same scheme Michigan did against us..

No idea why Phil and the whole second team doesnít get reps right now. No wat Navy can win. Why not get the entire second team offense a full half to get reps?
