Chase is now our #1 receiver IMO..
He asserted himself today with the strongest WR game of the season EQB continues to struggle Stepherson moving up Chase seems to have found himself and Brandon seems comfortable looking for him. aloha

We just don't have any receivers like DD or Mike Floyd sadly on this team.
There were a few passes that Stepherson had in his hands and a little tap from WF knocked out of his hands. I couldn't help but think there's no way those taps would cause DD or Floyd to drop those balls and that, I'm afraid, is what separates us from an Alabama. I'm sad to say there's just no receiver on our team that I'm thinking, "If the game's on the line, we need to throw it to this guy. He'll definitely catch it." And I think back to the Georgia game. They shut down the run and forced us to pass it and we just didn't have what it takes there at the position. My biggest worry for this team. |

He sure was today. But that drop he had would have put him well over 200. The potential is certainly there.

I agree on the drops, Goblin, though DD and Floyd had far more accurate QBs passing to them. BW still has some timing and placement issues to work out.

Weather wasn't great but ESB has been a major disappointment, he is small and has been really soft imo.
Claypool is the clear number 1, Stepherson is one heck of a weapon and Smythe is surprising. That was Brandon's best game and in crappy throwing conditions |

Let’s see if ESB can get open now that teams aren’t solely focused on him now. He should be buying Clay pool and Smythe dinner tonight for allowing him to get more One on one match ups.

I think our best receivers are our tight ends. Game on the line, that's who I'd go to.

ESB's hands have some surprisingly been an issue. Needs to get it fixed asap. Claypool has been great. Hope he keeps it up, and the kid is quite talented.

Can't always blame the QB. Some of those missed catches (during important times) were inexcusable if you wanna be a #1 WR, or NFL player. They need to step it up. |

We can afford the drops we had yesterday against weak teams, but only one could make a difference in a tight game. We dropped way too many ball yestereday, including the perfect pass Claypool dropped thay should have been an easy TD.

I really liked the play with the TE slipping out of the backfield for an easy 5 yards. Would like to see that used more. Especially if teams are keying and the RBs and Wimbush.

ESB is the real deal.
Our passing is starting to get a better rhythm. ESB is getting open. Just need to get him the ball. Claypool is coming into to his own now. |

I like to think Kelly and Long are saving that play for closer/bigger games. It has worked like a charm so far this year. Those WR screens on the other hand...
