I'd like to see this... been saying this for at least 5 years now.. His O Lines are terrible.

You beat me to it. How many times do we have to see our so-called great OL get embarrassed, that display tonight is just not acceptable. If they show up we win that game without a doubt.

I know... way back when we were beating teams and racking up meaningless run stats when games were put away or the the yards didn't mean anything. Now we don't look as crazy. As soon as I saw what we started doing after Warriner left I knew we would be doomed.

When your left tackle is touted as an All-American, for the second year in a row, he can't get beat like that. Not by reaching and getting his hands swiped away that easily. Not when it happened over and over in the game.

Sure we can, the line played well last week so they were praised but looked terrible this week against a quality opponent so they deserve criticism

I am not basing my opinion on the O line off of just this game. I actually said in a couple threads that I still had some concerns about the O line even after last week.

I am basing my opinion off of the way our lines have played overall over the last few years. We have underachieved. We constantly hear about how great the line is and the all Americans and the future NFL talent, but they consistently fail to dominate the LOS and we can't get it done against the good teams in big games.

It is what it is.

Kelly's running scheme is never going to do well against fast, physical defenses. The way to be effective is to run right at them with quick hitting runs. Kelly's runs are slow developing, which gives fast, physical defenses time to smother it. I was hoping that Wimbush's speed would open up things, but GA's linebackers ran him down all night. So, that was it for the running game.

Totally agree. Just posted this same thing in another thread. The OLine didn't play great, but the offensive scheme hasn't worked against a good defense the last 10 times they've tried.
