247 Composite: 3-star, #7 Kicker

247: 2-star, #9 kicker

Rivals: 2-star, NR (Rivals only lists Top 5 for kickers)

Offers: Air Force, Army, Colorado, Navy, Yale

Chris Sailer Kicking ranks him as the #1 kicker for 2021, giving him a 6.0 rating ("FBS Power 5 Freshman starter, scholarship pick"). FWIW, only 7 kids in the country are given a 6.0 rating.

Best kicker in the country and is only a 3-star? I kickers don't make it up to 5-star?

That's great though. Can never underestimate the importance of a great kicker.

Kickers never get above 2-stars, even if they are awesome like Bryan is.
Great pickup for special teams and seems as if he can do both punt and kick

AWESOME GET! Welcome to ND young man. A great kicker is a very valuable asset. They can literally be the difference between losing and winning a game. I'm stoked!

great get for ND. BK has had a great run on kickers since getting to ND in 2010 with ruffer, brindza, yoon and now doerer.

Doerer has indicated that he is using the NCAA waiver to return next year so we can work Bryan in slowly and the two can compete. Great to see us taking people we want.
