I have heard a rumor that Patterson played through pain Saturday against BC, but that an MRI today revealed that he has torn ligaments in his foot. He is having surgery this week and his season is over. Has anyone else heard anything?

Haven't heard anything. If true I wonder if Lugg gets put in since he's the 6th man?

II is reporting Correll, Grunhard and Lugg as possible replacements. Light the most experienced but not a true center.

Yes huge.....we saw even in BC game where BC had a experience center that the snap/play exchange between QB and center isn’t always a walk in the park. Besides his blocking after the ball is snapped. At least we have that extra week to prepare.

He's the key to the offensive line making calls at the line of scrimmage. Absoiutley, devastating to the offfense going forward, Someone has to step up big time.
