Sadly the fans are laying all the blame on the coaches, but if you take a close look at the players, a lot of them aren't really very good, especially the lines and their secondary. This isn't a very talented team by Michigan standards.

Coaches recruit and develop the players so if players are lacking, it's due to

1) lack of talent - on coaches to decide who to offer
2) lack of development - on coaches
3) lack of motivation - on coaches as well

At the end of the day, coaches make 7 or 6 figures while players don't. ultimately, blame for a team's record falls on head coach since he hires his staff
