Lou is indirectly attacking Biden because Lou’s entire philosophy is that only YOU can control your actions and YOU are accountable for your own actions. Yes, he attacked Biden’s Catholicism, but he’s not technically wrong. Jenkins is towing the libe of forgiveness and imperfection but you can see how that’s tough for someone who holds himself to a higher standard and devout. But, in the end, Lou was a great coach because he demanded his players be accountable for their own actions, regardless where they came from or what had happened to them before. Those are values of progress and success. Anything else is a recipe for failure.

The idea of Lou’s philosophy of personal responsibility is laughable when applied to support Donald Trump, who will do anything to avoid responsibility.

Where was Lou and his philosophy when nonviolent protesters were tear gassed for a photo op with a bible from a person who doesn’t go to church, but wants to court evangelicals?

Where was the commentary from Lou about the sincerity of Donald Trump?

Because Donald Trump is the epitome of accountability. By his own words, he's never asked for forgiveness for anything.

I’m tired of all the sports people thinking I give a **** about their opinions. I just want to watch the guys play! If they want to be politicians then they should throw their hat in the ring and run for office. Until then they should just do their jobs like the rest of us and let us appreciate people being good at their job.
