I have no idea what Edwards is looking for in a school, but M has quite a stable of RBs in Haskins, Corum and Chabonnet yet they managed just 18 yards on the ground against IN last week. Their top OL (Jalen Mayfield) is out. They haven't recruited well on the OL in the past few years, but to their credit they have developed talent there to put into the NFL.

On the flip side, Kyren has been tearing it up with our other backs running quite well, and pounding the rock has become our identity. We have some stud OL recruits coming in each year.

You'd hope that after all these top flight OL classes eventually some 5* backs are going to want to come play behind them.

Penn St is in a somewhat downward spiral. I think that they have had 22 players transfer out in the last 2-3 years and their recruiting has been slipping 6th in 2018, 12th in 2019, 15th in 2020, 32nd current ranking for 2021 class)

Nothing I enjoy more than watching that cult school in the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania lose. They allowed a football coach to run that town and school and ended up surprised when a kid f*cker ran rampant through disadvantaged kids while using the football program to commit those acts.
For all those people that still worship that enabler paterno, just know he’s in the worst part of hell and no one outside the cult of penn st is ok with him. Hence why those cult fans will always point towards his “win total” and say he was vindicated for restoring wins.

I’m willing to die on this hill: James Franklin is a very good coach. No excuse for this season, but anyone wanting to fire him needs to have their head checked.

Agree he's been a good coach and it's way too soon to talk about firing him. Two warning flags though: besides the 0-4 record, he went 0-fer on the top 10 hs players in PA. Most of those committed elsewhere before the four losses. Just my opinion, but that suggests something is wrong there.

Sounds like Ceyair Wright is trying to visit next month, so likely nothing from him until then. Edwards has been quiet - likely focusing on his playoff run, as has Titus been. As mentioned above, it sounds like Cardwell is also taking his time.

The only other options could be a flip candidate, but those usually happen as a surprise as Riley's re-commitment last night happened quickly.

Apparently Caleb Johnson (Auburn OT commit) is having a zoom call with the coaches this week. I think he could be the next to pop.
