ISD put up a "breaking story" that Riley recommitted to ND on Saturday morning, but it was pulled in the afternoon. Anybody know what is up?

Great recruiting of Riley by coach Kelly ..... so he can recruit.

"First it was coach Kelly. It was great,” said Riley, who talked with the head coach leading up to his first pledge to Notre Dame. “We were talking about football, like, and how things are at Notre Dame. My parents loved it. I loved it. It was great to just build that relationship stronger. There are a lot of reasons behind Riley’s decision to join Notre Dame’s class a second time. Relationships with the coaches and fellow recruits in his class, academics, and fit. Both sides seem extremely excited about the future.

“Top-notch academics and football,” said Riley of what appeals most about Notre Dame. “I have a great relationship with coach Lea, the defensive coordinator, coach Mickens, the cornerbacks coach, and coach Kelly, the head coach. I actually got on the phone with all three this week, and with my parents. It's just a great relationship. Top-notch education. You can get top-notch education and great football as well."

BK's recruiting the last 5'ish years has been far less fertile poaching ground for opposing programs than his first 5'ish years.

Welcome back, Philip.

Impressive to have Colzie and now Riley recommit. Both kids should be great. Love the comments from Riley and excited for his future at ND. Great news.

Love the fact he openly commented on the negative recruiting employed by other staffs...called out the false stories and the ND staff correcting the narrative for both him and his parents. I know this is part of the process but but happy to see a kid not falling for the anti-ND crap. GO IRISH!
