Brian Dohn from 247 did a recent interview with Chris Tyree, who said the following about ND: "I would say they are at the top of the list."

He also mentions that he has a "great" relationship with Denson. So if Denson leaves, as expected, the staff will really need to pick up the slack.

https://247sports.com/Article/Chris-...ord-127630786/

ND should comfortably make his Top 5, which he will announce after he visits Oklahoma for their spring game.

His current Top 10: Florida State, Michigan, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Penn State, Stanford, Virginia, Virginia Tech

If the Mississippi State RB coach comes, that would be a good transition for Tyree. Also coached at Penn State and recruited/coaches Barkley.

This kid might be a beast. Definitely very high on ND. Would be 20 years old by the time he got to campus and his physical development appears to be progressing quickly.

I would dare to say that Chris Tyree is THE most important recruit in this class for ND. He is a MUST-get.

Mostly underclassmen this week, but some very good ones at that. The main 2020 guy visiting is Jordan Johnson.

"Small Junior Day"? Does that mean no 300+ linemen are invited?

cool. its a true speed indicator when the corner plays 8-10 yards off and the receiver is still able to get behind him 3-5 yards each time to be so clearly open.

Yes. Johnson is one of the best WR prospects in the 2020 class. ND is in good shape to land a special skill position class. Lots of ND fits in ND friendly areas. After being selective in 2019, 2020 should be very good in this area. Imagine a class with Johnson, Henning, McMillan, Tyree/Drennen and Love. That is not only realistic, but would be an elite haul.

If that haul comes to fruition, it could be the No. 1 class in the land!

Keep an eye on recently offered RB, Bijan Robinson. With the offer, he instantly became Notre Dame's most important target imo. A true RB with some of the best pure athleticism and upside of anyone in the class. Let's see what you can do Lance Taylor.

I really like Bijan's size at 6'0" and 200. Could see him as an athletic 220 pound 3-down back. Hope we can land him. Nice change of pace from some of the 5'10"-ish 180 pound guys in '19 (Kyren) and in '20
