They rated us 95 on D and 97 overall. They gave the same ratings to Bama. Yeah, okay.

Last year they lowered our prestige to 5 stars. It is back to 6 stars. They rated Meatchicken the same. Prestige is also calculated in the overall rating. Alabama would be a 99 but no Trent Richardson.

To me, the only issue with the ND secondary is the unknown factor because we have young guys replacing experienced players who have moved on.

But I'm not about to equate inexperience with sucking.

We have some good prospects back there, guys who are growing up in the system and being developed. And they have a much better chance of being good and reliable than being terrible.

They haven't got our ratings correct on the game for the last several years.. Our stats last year speak for themselves.

I'm real curious as to what # QB they'll have listed #1 on the depth chart.. Will it be Golson?

Actually, they have a much better chance of being neither good/reliable nor terrible. The odds suggest that they will be serviceable--learning from mistakes throughout the season with inexplicable bursts of either boneheaded or brilliant plays. I'd venture to guess that the only time they look completely inept will be when we play OU and USC. The Trojan double tight formation against our secondary is going to yield XBox-esque stats.

I'd consider what we had last year to be "good/reliable" and I'd equate "terrible" to Mike Richardson. Here's to hoping that they gather some confidence in our first 2 games....

Our best CB right now is a 3 star WR convert. Our depth chart at CB lacks talent *and* depth. We just lost one of the best pass rushers in the country with nobody with his skill set to replace him.

Our OLBs are *very* unproven, but there's at least upside there. That's not the case at CB. Not by a long a shot.

In my opinion, a 95 rated defense should be what Alabama had last year: A combination of established veterans and youngsters with NFL pedigree, 2 deep.

Yes, they probably do, but knowing EA, you probably have to pay an extra $5-$15 to unlock them all.
