Jaylon Smith is Back

Please fix title mods - spell check.

Jaylon looks like the LB we used to know. This is an open field tackle where he attacks, breaks down and lays some wood. We've seen this many times at ND.

Love this guy.

Irish_Convert 09-21-2018 05:15 PM

Yeah, I'm happy for him because there were so many skeptics and he's starting to prove them wrong.

If he can stay healthy, then he will really cash in when he signs nexxt contract.

Kid is a beast! So so happy for him. I remember when his injury happened and I was physically sick to my stomach because he was such a great leader and ND guy.

hawaiiirish 10-16-2018 04:47 AM

yea I saw him play a couple of weeks ago and he really showed great speed

aloha

TexasDomer 10-16-2018 07:40 PM

Im a Houston Texans fan, and I watched him chase down Deshaun Watson and a bunch of people.

Jaylon looked great!

Which will be the year after next as he fell to the 2nd round. If he keeps playing like this and stays healthy then he will be paid as an elite LB, the upper echelon of his peers. He deserves it more than anyone I think I have ever seen.

This guy is legend. And always rocking his ND gear on national TV.

Kelly Gruene 10-16-2018 08:23 PM

The Dallas media love him.
He is a leader in the locker room.
He gives a great interview.
Glad to see him do so well.

FWIW, his brother Rod is also a Dallas Cowboy (running back; played at Ohio State)

Franco 10-16-2018 08:32 PM

so happy for Jaylon Smith

Was really bummed when I kept hearing his knee wasn't healing. If anyone deserves success, it's him

jessemoore97 10-17-2018 12:27 AM

Good or Jaylon! Very happy to see him come back.

He's running sideline to sideline just like he did for ND. Great to see.

coltssb 10-17-2018 12:50 AM

Still feel we wasted him at ND with Van Gorder and the position they had him playing. But glad hes back playing well. I was at that game and my first thought was he may not come back.

Irish_Convert 10-17-2018 01:29 AM

I've watched every Dallas game so far and yeah, he's done well. I think he's near the top of the NFC in tackles, has a sack and a few TFL. He's sure proving the skeptics wrong.

NoCal Irish 10-17-2018 05:12 AM

Hes 11th!

Currently hes 11th in the nfl in tackles... he is TOTALLY back!

Eagles fan here.. so, so torn.

Domer Dude 12-22-2018 03:09 PM

Everything about Smith is totally awesome...except his Predator dreads. I guess if getting hair shamed is the worst thing in life then life is good.

TexasDomer 12-22-2018 04:09 PM

Rattle, I understand. Im a Texans fan, but grew up a Washington Racists fan. I still love Jaylon and Martin on the Cowboys

Ha.. the cowboys are just so easy to hate.

irishwavend 12-22-2018 08:10 PM

So glad hes back and ready for Clemson. Well need him.

Baldy 12-23-2018 06:47 PM

Jaylon returned a Jameis Winston fumble 69 yards for a touchdown. I watched it live and it was amazing! Hes so fast and it looks like he is back to how he was when playing at Notre Dame. Im happy for him!

Irish_Convert 12-24-2018 07:42 AM

I know there probably aren't a ton of Dallas fans here but for those that didn't see it:
