Just out of curiosity, am I the only one who thinks we'll get a commitment from Forbath as a kicker...........or any kicker? I think it is a need because we haven't had anybody yet who has been DOMINANT in this important but overlooked aspect of the game. Someone who can boot the ball into the endzone routinely on kickoffs and someone who is money on field goals.

Either Robert Williams or Sergio Brown. Also, I was pretty doubtful about Bartley Webb, so I gues I would drop Butch Lewis for Bartley Webb because he seems the biggest longshot.

Its highly unlikely that ND will even offer Sergio Brown unless either Mays and/or Steve Brown commit elsewhere

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for Steve Brown. His size and athleticism are amazing, and you just get the feeling that he is destined for super-stardom. That being said, if he does choose...........shudder.........Michigan, I would be more than happy with Sergio Brown. Either way, the Irish will be getting a GREAT recruit.

I hate losing recruits to our rivals. I just read an article on Demetrius Jones. He sounded real high on Purdue. I would be real pissed if Purdue came in and stole him. I am more than happy with just Zach Frazer and it would not even bother me if DJ went to Illinois, but I would be pissed beyond belief if he signed with Purdue (I don't even understand how someone would sign with Purdue anyway. Who wakes up in the morning saying "I want to be a Boilermaker"?). As long as Brown and Walls don't sign with Michigan, I won't criticize Weis.

I'm tired of D. Jones. I'm ready to move on to Hartline. Hartline would be a perfect fit as a backup to Frazer. I'm not expecting Mustain. Besides, if we have Frazer and Mustain we could probably forget about Claussen next year and he could be better than all of them.

Isn't this a wonderful problem to have though? I love the fact that we are "forced" to choose between 4 and 5 star QB recruits, and are already on the radar for '07 studs. The momentum builds, HERE COME THE IRISH!

I do ask an opinion. Since I saw so much "The kids today couldn't care less about ND." Anyone get the sense that this is a snowball effect? That "something special" is going on at ND and these guys want to be part of it?
