I liked your interview with Sharpley, are you going to interview any other Irish recruits?

Ryan

Well, that one kind of fell into my lap, I was really lucky.

But, yes, if I have a chance, I will certainly try to get an interview.

Well maybe word will spread and they will want you to interview them

Ryan

Haha. Having recruits and players want me to interview them? How awesome would that be? I guess we'll see.

You never know, you got to start somewhere

Ryan
06-30-2005, 06:34 AM
Exactly. I hope for this site to expand bigger than maybe NDnation and UHND, and if that happens, it would be a good possibility that we could get more interviews. The problem is that the players are so closed off that it's really hard to get in any sort of contact with them. But, like I said, it is a possibility.

All you really need is all of the ND fans to come post over here

Ryan

I've been posting my link all over the internet, so hopefully it pays off. One site I couldn't get on was NDnation.com, because the guy who owns it is sensitive about posting competitors. Does it say something when he is afraid of competition that is less than a day old?

I dont know why he would do that, you would think he would want more Notre Dame sites. I usually go to BGI, NDnation, IrishEyes, and the ESPN boards on a daily basis. I think most fans go to multiple sites.

Ryan
06-30-2005, 06:49 AM
You'd think that, but who knows? It doesn't really matter, for the reason you just said. Because people go to different boards, the NDnation members will probably see it on another board.

I bet that the people that want to talk ND football will come here, because I doubt that there will be any flamers on here, so that should attract some people.

Ryan
06-30-2005, 06:56 AM
Yes, you are right. Since we are not in a network, we will not have fans from other teams. Plus, if there are ND fans who come here to flame (I can think of some on other boards), they're gone.

Irish Eyes just deleted my post.

NDN has a requisite registration protocol. It's not automatic. If I recall correctly it can take days to weeks to get registered to post there.

Strange that you say the guy who owns it is sensitive about posting competitors. There's a link to UHND (among other sites) on the NDN front page. Check "NEWS LINKS" under the word "com" in the ndnation.com banner.

SEE is a frequent and friendly poster on UHND. El Kabong also posts there on occasion.

Suggest you contact SEE at the NDN board ops email address. Click on "CONTACT US" in the upper left hand column. Address you message ATTENTION: SEE, and ASK if you can post your link or have them post it. They've paid their dues through the years and have earned that courtesy.

Also tell SEE about your Sharpley interview. NDN posts links to such articles on their front page.

I'm not affiliated with NDN nor do I post there. I've known Scott for about 10 years and your competition statement above is a bum rap.

As for IrishEyes, BGI or any other pay site expect them to delete your link. They're in business to provide information to their customers for a price. They post freebies to entice subscriptions not to promote free sites.

Think about it.

Good luck with your site.

Go Irish!

BGIF, thanks for your input. I was registered at NDnation, a waited that time until they registered me themselves. It took a total of an hour. He sent me an e-mail that said he didn't like people who registered just to promote other sites, before I ever posted a link (I guess he knew because Domer Domain was in my sn). I admit, that is what I did, but I couldn't see why he wouldn't want ND fans to see the link on the board. I was a little quick to judge, but it was almost 2 am, I was tired. I have talked to him since and have agreed on swapping links once my links page goes up. I did ask him if he would do me that after I told him I would post his site either way. I will not be taken off of BGI, I am friends with some authorities there. I have also been well repected poster there for over a year. I understand the IrishEyes deletion.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you come back. :D

You're welcome. Glad you didn't take offense, a mark of a good journalist.

Congratulations on your linkup with NDN.

Nicely done. You have a future. Remember us little guys when you win your Pulitzer. We knew you when!

Haha, thanks for your support. If I do win an award, I'll be sure to mention all of the posters from DomerDomain.com!

Hey man I'm here. I've told everybody I know to come on over and join the fun at domer domain heaven. You'll be overwhelmed when you get back from your vacation. Not bragging but I know a helluva a lot of people. N.D. people.

Hmm...Domer Domain Heaven. I like it. I think it's too late to change the name of the site though, oh well. I'm envious of your abundance of ND friends, if I'm correct there are about 5 fans from my school. Keep in mind that my high school is home to 2,000 students. That's a fourth of a percent.

Anyways, thanks for the promotion rusty :) .

I have a good feeling about Sharpley starting this year. He may not start every game but he will get his share. He's probably got the best football body aklthough Demetrius may be a safer choice until we know what we have in offense line,.
