Yep, he called Weis not too long ago to tell him that he wanted to play for the Irish. This is a great pick up.

This is a huge commitment for the Irish for two reasons. He adds much needed depth to a position that loses 3 key players next season and he chose Notre Dame over Michigan. A moral victory for the Irish. Now that Weis has proved he can beat Michigan and compete with the best of them off of the field, he'll need to prove he can compete on the field (And hopefully beat the Wolverines too).

Awesome! I had a good feeling about this one. Even better, if we get Steve Brown, that will be 2 head-to-head battles won over Michigan on the recruiting battlefield. Keep that momentum going Charlie! Go IRISH!

Yeah this is a nice commitment. He's a 6'4" WR that runs a 4.5 40. That's very impressive.

I'm personally glad to see CW reconstructing the pipeline to Cleveland, OH. That area is the hotbed for Ohio football. Go Irish!!

I agree, we definitely need to heavily recruit the Cleveland area. Charlie says he wants midwestern guys, and Cleveland is arguably the most talent rich area in the Midwest. This is very good news.

This is great to hear, because not only has Weis dipped into the Ohio talent pool, he is also establishing himself in the Catholic schools once again
