Irish are 7-0 with some good wins. Doug Gotlieb praised Mike Brey for his decision to go small against the Bigger Badgers of Wisconsin. It paid huge dividends as the Irish won by 7 against the Big Ten power. Big East has dominated in these preseason tournaments by winning 7 of them and finishing second in two others. The Irish are a great defensive team and are getting better offensively as players like Martin and Atkins are developing rapidly.
