Notre Dame room ideas

I just purchased a house and I am looking for items to put in a "ND room." I have thought about buying the Play Like a Champion sign and the Snow Bowl picture with Mirer and Bettis. Do you guys have any suggestions and/or what do you have in your homes? Thanks in advance.

ND room? Huge grossly expensive flat TV screen. Big computer. Fridge full of beer. Oh yes. An NDsomething or other somewhere :D

I myself just purchased my first house. Here's what I have in my basement ND bar:

Digital Projector with 10' (diagonal) screen

(2) game worn ND helmets (with the display bases removed so we can wear them, as mentioned in my superstitions post)

Several framed posters, my favorite being the one with the lineman's hand holding up a battered ND helmet. The bottom reads "IRISH"

The official ND flag (Very classy Navy flag w/ Gold Interlocking ND) which may move outside if I ever get a flagpole.

Various ND stuff like Calendars, Pennants, etc.

Coming soon: "Play like a champion today" sign for the bottom of the stairs.

A year or two ago during football season I went to Liquor World. :D They of course had everything. Down an isle I saw what looked like say4 feet of the back of a pickup truck the tailgate down and two tires. It was cases of beer stacked on for display. I thought what a clever idea at the time but their beer sucks.

I did thin that would make a heck of a buffet table in my ND room game day on TV. You know arrange chip dips and muchies on it. Back can have anything else small grill (You don't use inside) etc.

I imaginge you can go to a junk yard and if you know someone in welding use a cutting torch. Just the shell and lite parts arrange two auto tires etc. Spray paint the sucker in ND colors as well.

It certainly would be a conversation piece for your room or legal grounds for a divorce. :lol:

John, I LOVE that idea. The tailgate would have to be fully functional for asthetic effect. Also, you COULD use a grill if it was a Goerge Foreman. Just a thought.

:D I wanted that one and approached the owner after the season ended to see if I could get it but the distributor took it back. :(

Depending on the TV size you could even stick that in the bed. Ahahah!

Even add an ND license plate if your going whole hog. If your a beer drinker start carefully opening 12 packs so you would have some mock boxes in the back. Ideas are endless. :D
