A coulple of observations without reliving the entire game:

-Peoples adds zero production in any form of basketball entirity.

-Nash & Scott play scared.

-Ben H. is just not that good. He can shoot okay (wide open) but can't beat anyone off the dribble/create his own shot and is a major liability on the defensive end.

-Abro's shot is the purest on the whole team. That being said it really doesn't matter how many points he scores due to the fact that ND usually only has 2 players on in any given night and still losing.

-Harangody's Harangody. Consistent scorer, poor defender. Teams know this and simply allow him his shots with the hope of "shutting down" BH or any other third scorer.

-Tory is our only athlete who know's how to penetrate and play with confidence. Probably more than half of his shots are willed in by emotion and by his reactionary instinct. A great point guard IMO.

Conclusion: Brey needs to play Brooks and Brog more/any. We're losing games to athletes because we aren't playing with any.

You put Scott in there who can't score and who seems to turn the ball over more than get rebounds. Peoples makes the opposition smile because they know what any easy guard it's going to be..

Allow Brooks to be the one making mistakes that our current senior/junior are making. At least he'll get better and contribute to this team later on.

Notre Dame just isn't anywhere near the level required to make it to the NCAA tourney. If we don't have a sharp shooter we're out of luck, and we simply don't have one anymore.

We just aren't athletic enough to be a top 20 team, plain and simple....

Syracuse is really good this year. One of the best teams they have had in awhile. Sure would have been nice to get it done at home but wasn't honestly expecting it.

It would be nice if we didn't play "matador" defense --olay!
Brey's teams are never athletic-enough and he refuses to play zone all time time. If you can't guard man-to-man, which we can't, you gotta play different zones all the time!
