Both men and women's basketball teams are ranked ( 23 men, 5 woemen)
and are undefeated. Abromaitas is a stud at 6' 8" and can score inside or
take it to the hole. Harangody was just called the best player in the country
by Brey and has been a beast in the middle. Hansbrough is draining 3's
and can drive the lane. Jackson is playing very consistent in running the
show. Carelton Scott has emerged as a good rebounder and is starting to
score from in close. Nash is improved. Big East is a BEAST. Unranked
Big East teams are pounding ranked teams.
Girls are super. Freshman guard, Skylar Diggins is tremendous. Haven't
seen the girls play but you can get the guys on your computer at und.com.
I basically took a sabatical from football with the losses mounting. Heard
the Big east fired the guy in the reveiw booth over the Notre Dame/Pitt
game. We were so close to a very good year. A better defensive line,
some honest refs, and a healthy Floyd and we could/should be undefeated.

that was my intention and then they lay a bomb last night. Hansbrough
and harangody were a combined o for 13 on 3's. Oh well, this too shall
pass. Maybe we get Stoops.

Girls just saved the day with a 81-71 victory over Oklahoma. Our girls are super.

ND men just beat Idaho State 80-70. It wasn't that close as Brey played all the
Freshmen the last 4 minutes. Harangody was great as usual. Young players are
developing. Hansbrough tough nosed and drives to the basket. Abromaitas very
consistent and dribbles like a guard at 6' 8". Carelton Scott has huge wing span and
finished a spectacular alley oop. Jackson very strong. Broghammer played a few
minutes and is close to being a scorer. Fun game.

ND women took a 10 point win from Eastern Michigan. I watched last night. We were very
sloppy
but did what we had to do.

Abromaitas gets his first start and responds with 31 points. He has been, solid, consistent
and even flashy. He can hit the 3, dunk, and has a variety of shots in between.

Girls trounced ipwu (or something like that)....Girls really like to take it to the hole.
Now ranked #3 in the country. Was checking thier roster and they will be good for a
long long time. One slight problem is they graduate the 6' 4" center Williamson and
nobody else on the roster is over 6' 2".

Irish win again. This time Hansbrough leads the way with 22 points as we beat IUPUI
90-73. Abromaitas continues consistent strong play with 18 points and Nash plays well
with 8 points and 5 rebounds.
We are 9-1 and close to entering the top 25 again.

I watched the entire ND-Loyola game on the computer. They were a very fast team
and got some fast breaks for lay ups. We led the entire game and with 19 seconds
left we had the ball and a one point lead. Abromaitas was trying to inbound and let
the clock expire so that we didn't get the ball inbounds. You could see the look of
horror on his face as the refs gave the ball back to Loyola for the winning shot. We
are going to be a bubble team.
Girls are just super though and look like final four. Did not see thier game but they
won by 40.

Only watched one game so far , we got a couple of big guys but i think we need some speed or we just might have to hope for another nit , we need talent to get to the final four. , we can win at home but the road wins come hard as they did last year. Go irish ;):-p:-p
