Bimidji State railed Cornell last night 4-1. Talk about peeking at the right time. The Frozen Four is set with two, yes two #4 seeds (Bimidji State and Miami), the lone #1 and favorite Boston University, and Vermont who beat Air Force in 2 OT's. I'm starting to see a Bimidji State/ BU championship game here. Should be interesting.
Talk about an under rated hockey team eh?

From what I've seen, BU is the best team left. Of course that doesn't mean they'll win - as we all saw this past weekend.

actually rick, i am surprised at your comments about how teams from the east play so much more physical than other teams. i do watch plenty of hockey, thank you very much, and i also realize that physicality is an important part of the game. i also know that often times players rely solely on their physicality to make up for shortcomings in other aspects of their game such as stick handling and overall speed and skating agility. its the main difference between hockey played in the NHL today and what was played 25 years ago. a greater european influence changed the tempo and the overall quality of the game. it consists of better stick handling and quicker play. players who exhibited only prowess on the physical side were being left in the dust and in their frustration a greater preponderance of shirt grabbing, tripping and dirty play evolved in retaliation. hence, thuggery. if you keep harping on the overall physical play of the eastern teams like it is their greatest attribute, my question to you would be is it a result of them exerting their dominance physically to make up for other shortcomings? seems like a logical question that doesn't deserve your smart assed reply ;)..................

I was surprised that we didn't really step it up physically after the first period against Bimidji St. That's how you deal with a team that is much faster than you.
