That would leave us with an 8-3 record with a win over Tenn, for some reason i have a bad feeling about Cuse

If we beat the Missagain skunkbears, skys the limit. Since the renewal of the Notre Dame-Michigan rivalry, the outcome of this contest usually dictated what direction the Irish season would go. When the Irish defeated the Wolverines from 1978-2003, they finished 93-25-2 (.783). When Notre Dame lost, the final ledger was 57-49-1 (.537). Last year was an exception to the pattern. The Irish toppled the Wolverines, 28-20, yet finished merely 6-6. We have a new Super Bowl coach now. Since it's all speculation at this point, again, if we beat MIchigan, we run the table.

Doesn't Syracuse have a new coach as well?
I think the USC game will decide how the second half of the season go. If we come out of that game with momentum, we finish strong and maybe pull the Tenn upset. If they kill us, like the last three years, as much faith I have in Weis, I think we might to be prone to an unexpected loss late in the season. The most likely game that will happen in would be the Cuse game, like Leopard said.

We owe Cuse big time. We got our collective asses handed to us last time we played them. If revenge has any factor, and we are injury free at game time, I see this as an optimal, coach Weis, clock eating machine offense, in full stride. Trouble is, no one will be able to see all the Cuse blood against all that (adjust your color) orange.

09/03/2005 Pittsburgh...Win by 4, High Scoring battle.
09/10/2005 Michigan...Win by a FG, another High Scoring battle
09/17/2005 Michigan State...I think this one is a toss-up, VERY Close Win.
09/24/2005 Washington....Blow out win :).
10/01/2005 Purdue...VERY close loss by a FG or so.
10/15/2005 USC...I think the Irish lose by 10-14 pts.
10/22/2005 BYU...Solid win by 14+ points.
11/05/2005 Tennessee...I see ND losing this one by 10 pts.
11/12/2005 Navy...20+ point win.
1/19/2005 Syracuse...Close win, Irish come from behind like Stan last yr.
11/26/2005 Stanford...Back and forth game, Irish win by 7.
I expect the Irish to go 8-3 this season and possibly get a Gator Bowl invite and play a quality team like FSU or VA Tech.
