It's really to the point where I can tell you the outcome of the game about 3 days before tip off. ND turns the ball over. ND gives up 25 offensive rebounds. ND plays extremely soft on defense. Nobody blocks out. Harangody scores 25-30 pts. ND loses by 12+.

Have I mentioned that Tory Jackson can't seem to do anything? He can't dribble. He turns the ball over a ton. He flat out sucks on defense. And he can't shoot. I mean seriously....our starting point guard is shooting 37% from the floor. Sorry, that isn't going to cut it.

Why are Brey's teams always so weak defensively?

After the first half I thought we had a chance. But after a 10-0 run by Pitt to start the second half, I realized my mistake. Can you say over-rated?

I just ran into one of my old dormmates who is totally frustrated and bummed with this team. I had to laugh because I haven't watched this team play outside of the Maui tournament, so I'm glad to save the frustration.

If we don't make the NCAA this year, I think Brey has to take an equal amount of blame as he did credit last year. That style he has of finesse / outside shooting just does not work in the talent-laden, tough Big East. And it doesn't help when you play 6 guys for 40 minutes game in and game out.
