I just saw a picture of him and he looks great wearing the #1 on his jersey. I was thinking he wasn't quite that big but he looked really filled out. Hopefully he can contribute right away. I have to say seeing him the #1 jersey brings back some wonderful memories of Derrick Mayes. That kid was fun to watch.

It was on the bgi.rivals.com home page this morning but it's not there anymore. When I saw the pic I wanted to know who #1 was so I looked up the roster and found his name by it. He looked really cut like he was an upperclassmen instead of a freshman. I wish I had a link but apparently the article is off the front page. I checked his profile and he is listed at 6'2'' and 185 so I'm sure he's probably closer to 190 with summer conditioning. I was thinking he was alot smaller. It was just a small little picture but he sure looked ready to play. I'm just thinking out loud but if I'm not mistaken that means that Hord, McKnight, Stovall, Samarzdja (sp?), and Anastacio (sp?) are all over 6 ft. I have 2 thoughts on this 1.) Can ND take advantage of this with some jump balls over shorter DB's and 2) Will this help our DB's prepare for the jump ball that has burned them so much in the past?? I'm hoping the answer is yes and yes but we'll see.

oh i know that. i'm not a subsciber over there so all i could see was the small caption on the front page. I would never post something from a paid site. I was hoping to find a pic on the university site but all I could find was a head shot.
