I would like to go back to the old way of doing things in the Olympics BASKETBALL TEAMS, WE HAD COLLEGE PLAYERS FIGHTING for the chance to represent our country against the other counties best, Now its just a bunch of millionaires running up and down with all these NBA antics, it sort of spoils the true meaning of the Olympics , return it to to the college players and then let the NBA GET THEIR OWN WORLD GAMES lets leave the Olympics for the kids in school not a bunch of ego minded players.

I would agree with you on this Rick except for one thing. Back when it was just amateurs competing the communist block countries sent their pros to compete with our college kids. While the college kids won most of those battles (including the 1972 theft) against the Soviet Union, it is unfair to put college kids against men who get paid to play, practice and learn their sport profesionally in their own countries.
If it was truly amateur sports, I woul have no problem with it.

yup, i agree most of the pro players are all me or mine attitude, i think that the current Celtic team is more of a team first attitude , just my opinion can't stand Kobe , it would be nice to limit the amount of pro players on a national team for all countries , this way we could get to see some true basketball being played without all this show time crap . what say you ?
